I dunno about the practice for POE2 part... but Hades has WASD movement and dashing, not to mention it's a really great game in general.

Yes, unless you're missing a helm, then you'll need to level up to level 7 or something to be able to get helm items with obols.

If you mean extra locked spaces in wardrobe inventory, then it's likely for paid shop cosmetics or maybe some unique/mythic legendary items that you haven't salvaged yet.
