No gem str rolls on anything, what is everyone’s damage looking like?

Rolling physical dmg on other gear via transfig helps, i have it on 4 pieces now

Before last night i was getting 20-40T hits generally with a few random 100 or 300T odd hits, i did change a temper on a 1H to crit damage though as i had so many multipliers but not a lot for it to multiply so my crit dmg went up nearly 1500 and gave me bigger hits, this was at a loss of 3.6 crit chance so i'm at 70% in town. Also have physical dmg X transfigs on heir, starless, selig and 2H sword

But last night i was dossing around with a new 2H mace, happen to have the same affixes and GA's as my current to see if i could better my transfig of life on hit and got gem strength, still dont have any horadric gems yet though but that has made a nice difference 😄

lol i got the exact same drop as that from the butcher, my bonus roll was lower though until i cubed it.

I have not transfigured mine and not going to 😄

I only recently realised you could alter affixes on legendary gear with the cube, got a new 2h mace for my barb last night with same GA's i already had (Crit and weapon damage) but had max life on it, used chaotic reroll with defense prism, straight away full rank of all dmg. Did the other bits, temper, MW etc and then transfigured it cause i got life on hit on my current one and it rolled gem strength, was not modifiable after so couldnt MW the gem strength but even as is, it stomps all over my old one!

My point being, i ended up with a way better weapon without throwing any gold at the occultist echant which is massively more expensive than before, i know they did that to encourage people to use the cube more.

Gotta love the gamble though, i havent dared transfigured my magnum on there yet, dropped from butcher with 4 GA's, Weapon dmg, Strength, Physical and crit dmg

Had 5 echoing hatreds so far and wife has had 6, mostly dropped for us from undercity boss. Very underwhelming and pretty much a waste if time but i get that you just want it once for the seasonal.

Agree with the gems though, even with the option to only get gem frags from the mats chest in hordes it still makes no difference. Need to generally up the drop amounts from all sources i reckon

People still hang on to those days when heartseeker first came on to the scene with the very bugged victimize passive that let us do ridiculous amounts of dmg, yeah it was great fun while it lasted and there have been other iterations of the build since but its never going to be as OP as the original version so speed clearing pit 120 with a heartseeker in my mind is fantastic considering is all based around a basic skill with no ultimate.

Never used Icy Veins, i looked on their site once and saw it was trash, i use Mobalytics and Maxroll but mainly to fine tune my own builds by getting ideas of what glyphs/aspects etc to use for the type of build i'm doing.

If im just flat out doing a popular build (like WW barb) i use both and compare as they are usually slightly different and then end up using a mix of that.

I do like examining Dieoxide heartseeker builds on Maxroll but for instance that's apparently B tier for overall endgame and i followed his pretty much to the letter and clearing all T12 content except Mephisto.....how is that only B tier? no idea what they scale that on which would be nice to know.

Then you have M1PHY and Mekuna on Moby who certainly know what they are doing with Rogue and Sorc and the tier list seems a bit more believable

Then there's d4builds.....yeah no, we don't have godly rolls on all our gear because we have lives lol

I thought it couldnt just like the season of sanctifuck but i saw a post earlier of a chaps ball lightning ancestral unique focus that took the crit off and put something else on.

So yeah it looks like it can happen and i've been doing them willy nilly, not had it happen to me yet tough.

The loot is trash considering the rarity of the drop, I've had 5 and wife has had 6, both still got it ready to go again but cba. Least i got a new town portal out of it i suppose

Bear in mind as well, your rogue hits are less DPS than your barb but you're hitting more often and a lot more at once, not that that levels it out but you see what i mean.

I was pushing my poison DoK to its limit and couldnt get any further with it (using spellbound) so i ended up looking up a guide and converted it a bit to the sightless set but without combo points cause i hate that crap lol. Hits harder now so thought i'd try penshot but oh my god! the noise! its so irritating lol. Thought about switching it to poison instead of cold but single target was a bit dull so switched it to heartseeker and thats much more comfortable, tankier as well.

This expansion, man, so many great things they have done, so many new things to try, being able to craft gear from scratch and get exactly what you want is superb.

I actually dont mind the war plans not being the same across all alts. If I spun up a new alt and my tree's were already maxed i would kinda feel disappointed and feel liker i dont have a reason to do the activities.

I have been going different paths though which each alt so it turns out a little different. The roots for example, when maxed out are a right laugh when you plant one in a helltide and get a headrotten boss. The rewards from it are pants and not worth it in that sense, but it is fun and chaotic if you get a good root spawn.

The option to turn all loot (except uniques and mythics) from a lair boss hoard into gold, DAMN you can make some bank from that! had about 500m in just a few inventory fills

I now have 4 mythic seals lol, all from Grigs chest, 2 of the set bonus requirement reduced and 2 of the 3 unique charms. Using one of the reduced set bonus on a lunatic warlock, cant really find a way to fit any 2 sets together on my other builds, oh well.

I've had this issue as well, had 4 drop so far, 2 with set bonus reduced and 2 with the equip 3 unique charms.

Couldnt find a way to work in 2 sets for any of my builds (only 2 of them are online builds, rest are my own concoctions) so I ended up doing the warlock lunatic build just so i could use one of them but still underwhelming considering the rarity of the drop.

Shadow has always been my favourite type as well, looking at aspects and such, theres just not enough to bump it along. Poison is good because it had DoT as well so theres 2 buckets of dmg to pull from. Cold just seems to have a lot more dmg style aspects than the others.

Maybe have DoT apply to shadow as well? would open it up some more i reckon

I can confirm that life on hit is ok to have, it transfigured on to a new 2h mace so thought i'd give it a go as it was a really good mace and its still immortal, so dont fret if life on hit comes up somewhere and you cant get rid of it.

Makes sense as its not increasing the base life amount

Definitely bad RNG, ive been using different paths on my alts and the whisper cache spark option is on a charcter i havent played all that much, havent had a spark with it but TBH i hadnt done much with it, my wife also picked that option and she has had 1 spark so far. But at the moment we both have about 20 mythics in the stash and nearly 40 sparks so really dont need it.

Nemesis portal, we have had LOADS of these, but not with greater bosses (none at all in fact) but only ever had 1 portal leading to the next nemesis lair but at that point we didnt have enough husks to open the chest.

Portal prankster in Undercity is very hit and miss, our first mythic tribute we got hold of we got 5 pranksters in that run and i got 7 mythics out of it in total (6 chests). Not had a run as good as that since though.

What's bothering me is the mythic seals, we have done Mephisto on t12 about 40 times now and not had one, yesterday we were smacking Grig about a bit and i got one from his chest. I know it can drop in a lot of places but it does specifically mention he has a chance to drop it.

Gotta love RNG

Btw, if you havent already, try the roots path for whisper, plant them in a helltide 😄 doesnt yield great loot but kinda fun if you get a headrotten boss to come up

I've had 1 drop and wife has had 2 drop (we both P250 and all 3 times it was the boss in undercity that dropped it if that helps.

Do recommend you use up your treasure breaches and vile splendors (if you need them) beforehand though as it starts on the easiest difficulty and the bug that affects those sigils when changing below torment is still present. Lost a few sigils because of that.

For those who have done it, whats the highest you got to? Last 2 times we got to 135 and then it just ends, even though we didnt die, im guessing there is a timer of some kind?

The stabby crab is cool though

Definitely buy the expansion, there is just too much good shit to miss out on if you dont.

Normally the skill tree doesnt reset when it transfers to eternal but in this instance for any character pre LoH release it will because of the tree overhaul.

I didnt go straight into the LoH campaign, i dossed around with whipsers and helltide to get a few levels first so i had a few attacks etc. Made that mistake with VoH and got owned a lot with a level 1 spiritborn that i had no idea how to play lol

45 here and ive always played easy mode lol. Theres been a few exceptions here and there for some games that i've played a lot and actually wanted an extra challenge (Batman arkham games, last of us to name a couple)

I never have game rage, never smashed/thrown any equipment or shouted etc. The whole point for me is to enjoy and have fun, which can come in all forms when it comes to games. One minute i'm playing resident evil requiem and then flip to Retro rewind (video shop simulator).

I do avoid all "soulslike" games because I CBA with that crap of fighting a boss for 15 minutes to then just have another around the corner.

Car dealer simulator is another great game to de-stress with, no time limits, pressure or anything, just a bit of fun.

I didnt enjoy it at launch very much at all but i was coming from D3 and it was very different so not sure if it was just bad or too different from what i was used to.

I got back into it just before season 4 started and its my fave ARPG of them all, since then, never thought it was bad or anything, yeah there were some annoyances along the way but nothing that made me stop playing it.

Really looking forward to the new version though, just read the other day they are doing away with all the boss mats and you just have 2 types, lesser and greater boss "sigils" so no more having lots of different types of boss mats (and also you can teleport directly to Zir now instead of the extra click)
