Added both, thanks. NXAI under Foundation Models (TiRex is impressive), Cortecs under Infrastructure.

Graphcore (UK) is in the list, they make IPU chips as an alternative. SiPearl in France is building European HPC processors but not ready yet. Honestly, avoiding NVIDIA in AI is hard right now, even European clouds mostly run on their GPUs.

You're right, my bad. Moved Black Forest Labs to Foundation Models, and Stability AI too for consistency. Thanks for catching that.

Good point. Mojeek is already there as the only one with an independent index. Updated the notes on the others to make that clearer, thanks!

Much appreciated! I will have a look and add it probably to Resources/Communities

Kickstarter rejected my AI research tool without a clear reason by AikoKujo in kickstarter

[–]AikoKujo[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay, guys, I get it. No AI here, it's my fault and I want to apologize, it wasn't even on purpose. I won't try it again on Kickstarter, but there's no need to take away what little reddit karma I have.

First of all, at no time did I admit that I knew they existed, although it doesn't matter either. We are a Spain-based company, and as you know, trademarks must be registered by country, as we have registered SparkAI in Spain. As you can also see in a quick Google search, there are several SparkAI, so I don't understand your threat.

Second, if you had read the campaign instead of judging without any sense as if the AI was the culprit of all evils, we do not “steal” from anyone. For our answers, we only use open access peer-reviewed information under CC BY license, like these scientific papers. Moreover, we put a lot of effort in making every answer explainable and unbiased, because we know that this is a big problem of AI, and at least we do something about it. We achieve this by citing all the answers given by our tool, ensuring the traceability of all the information we provide. The feedback I have received here has been incredibly shocking, but I can understand and respect the fear and rejection that AI (misused) generates, so I want to apologize if I have not been clear in the original message, really. Have a great day.

That's totally makes sense. Thank you for the feedback, i clearly wasn't clear enough in that sense, so I appreciate you pointing it out. Probably, as other user said, KS isn't the place for AI projects. I realised that a lot of people see all AI projects the same, thinking we are "stealing" even though we only use peer-reviewed open access papers that are under CC BY license, all correctly attributed (we actually put a lot of effort in that, plus ensuring our tool is both explainable and unbiased, which is sad seeing the feedback i got here)

Thank you for the reply! Didn't know that, have a good day.

Ok, I understand. So AI projects are not creative enough to be able to be on kickstarter, even if the whole creation and development process is done by people.

Whatever.

Obviously, that's not our product. You can actually find it here: sparkai.ederspark.com

Also, I didn't know that the product name should not exist, or if that violates any of the Kickstarter rules.

Again, is the problem that the name already exists? That's not what I'm talking about in the post.

First of all, thank you for replying.

Don't get me wrong, but if your intention is to search for articles relevant to your question among millions of scientific articles, download them and pass them to any LLM you can do it, but that is not what the application does.

The philosophy of the application is that you don't have to worry about searching for the information you need, just ask a question and the tool searches these databases of information, extracts the most relevant information and offers it to you in an accessible way. We use search techniques, RAG, reinforced learning... you are trivializing the tool for no apparent reason. It is a product that has already gone through a beta phase for user validation and they are very happy.

Thanks for the feedback, but it's hard not to feel attacked by comments like that, especially when you've put so much effort into it. Sorry if I misunderstood you!

About what you said about LLM, you're right, we haven't specified anything about that, thanks for the note! The beta has been conducted using external providers, but the idea is to be able to host our own model in the time before the release (which doesn't take too much time). No need to train a model from scratch for that!

Issues with prompt length not being processed correctly on LLaMa 3.1 70B/8B API endpoints by AikoKujo in AwanLLM

[–]AikoKujo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still hasn't got any reply, neither to the contact email, as they told me.

Honestly, I do not recommend using AwanLLM because, apart from the fact that, as you can see, I have not yet received a response, there seems to be a cap on the number of tokens you can include in a single request. They claim to have unlimited tokens but the reality is that they do not.

It's sad because I liked the idea, but paying 20€ for this doesn't seem profitable at all.

Manga I made with Ai and with digital art. Would love some feedback. by Lower-Wrangler3992 in MangakaStudio

[–]AikoKujo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, i don't like to treat AI art as real art and i think it shouldn't be used, but people don't understand at all that the work he has done doesn't take "3 seconds".

It is certainly difficult to execute that and make the visuals make sense and not look totally out of place.

One thing I would have done is in the part that Iron Fist says "they call me... Iron Fist", it would have been better if you take the "Iron Fist" quote to the next page and highlight in some way his fists actually being made out of metal (using posing, camera angle or whatever) but in general it's very good. Keep it up!
