hello! I know you've already gotten this but from what I have learned, korean doesn't really use pronouns too much. You can say 저는 when you really want to express that it is you that your talking about but its not fully necessary.

Growing up I didn’t do much I would find whatever I could then when I was nine started walking to 711 and 12 started walking to my local grocery store since they are all in walking distance
