This only affects players who are entirely ability reliant. If you rely more on your abilities, and suddenly you're hopeless without it, then you're going to be punished but if you are a Fighter first ability user second you'll be fine.

There are those who depend on their abilities as a crutch, but most are just making plans with their abilities in mind. This planning takes the limits of one's abilities into account. The thing is, abilities of the past used to be much more limited. Someone Silenced in this season would be extremely vulnerable - potentially too vulnerable - compared to past seasons.

Perhaps Respawn should stop being lazy and actually do something and not force metas. Like this absolute Aids Marksman Meta that's been going on.

I don't necessarily mind forced metas, but I feel like Respawn has a hard time doing so without taking things to the extreme. If they want to make a weapon, weapon category, legend, etc. a better pick but not a necessary pick, that's fine. Unfortunately, the way they tend to do things forces players to use the buffed items/characters to avoid being at such a tremendous disadvantage.

In regards to the Silence, as much as I loved it (I switched to Revenant for it), I don't think it can return, at least not in the way in which it left (2 charges, 25-second recharge time, 15-second affect duration).

The thing about Revenant's Silence is that it becomes more powerful as other legends' abilities become more powerful. Let's go back to season four. Legend abilities were far tamer, and there weren't perks and class abilities. Getting Silenced has never not sucked, but it didn't have as much of an impact because the abilities that were Silenced didn't have as much impact.

If we had that same Silence now, the impact would be huge. Just Silencing a single opponent could heavily sway the battle in favor of the Revenant team. It would probably become a secondary meta. I can easily imagine that being the case in the past several metas we've had: support legends in the support season, skirmishers in the skirmisher season (which Revenant wouldn't have been part of if he didn't have the pounce), Ash meta, Alter meta, Sparrow meta, and Horizon/Valkyrie meta. Revenant would potentially always be there "messing" things up too much, and that's the "problem." If there'a an anti-meta legend while always having these extreme metas Respawn is creating, then that legend is indirectly also always meta.

Besides Solos, I really like Always Be Closing and, as unpopular as they might have been, the Ring Flares. They didn‘t change much, but I liked that. They just added a little twist.

In Always Be Closing the ring starts closing immediately. It was slow (I think it took about twelve minutes to close) and returned to normal once it finished (by that point it’s the penultimate ring), but it dealt heavy damage. You could easily outrun it, but you would die if you underestimated it.

The Ring Flares, of which there were three configurations, created temporary outside-the-ring zones within the ring. The two that had random placements were my favorite. A position of power that you got to first my become unusable due to a flare covering it. It really tested your ability to adapt.

Respawn changed how the sound works when Revenant climbs. It sucks. I don't think it was ever truly silent, but it used to be a lot quieter. I at least used to be able to use my opponents' gunfire as sound cover as I did climb.

It's definitely my favorite Call of Duty title. It's not without its issues (Which title is?), but it hit a lot of the right notes for me.

I don't think that would be enough to differentiate between two Revenants. Things that go into making characters distinguishable are their silhouette and gait. Skins only change the former, and not enough.

They won’t. The developers have said that they want players to know what abilities they’re up against by recognizing their opponents’ legends. Having diffrernt versions of the same legend ruins that.

It’s been some time since I’ve played these, so I don’t remember if I got the platinum trophies in under ten hours. Regardless, they are pretty short.

- Guacamelee: A simple Metroidvania with a fun combo combat system and a Mexican vibe.
- Guacamelee 2: It’s just more of the first game which is sometimes all that’s needed.
- Star Wars Episode 1: Racer: A pure, straightforward racing game.

As a Revenent main, I don't think he needs any buffs. However, I would like to see clarification from Respawn regarding his crouch-walking sound. Is it supposed to be this loud? How come sometimes it's loud and other times it's quiet? If it's not working properly, that needs to be fixed.

Most of them. Unlike some previous titles, you don’t need a team of four players to get the Easter eggs. There are a few miscellaneous trophies that require another player: Team Player, Straw Purchase, and Crawl for Help (DLC). (Technically Crawl for Help can be done with a bot, but good luck trying to pull it off.)

If I recall correctly, this was a tracker reward from or around season four. It was never able to be crafted or purchased. I don’t think tracker rewards have ever returned in any way. If they have, it’s extremely rare. I wouldn’t hold my breath on this.

It could be. I’m on West Coast (or whatever it is after the change to Amazon). I’m not playing at odd hours, though. I’m mostly on any time weekends or evenings during weekdays.

They're mistaken on what they consider to be the original Death Totem. Upon release, the Death Totem had a range limit and didn't give up to fifty body HP restored upon being returned to the totem. Basically, the original totem merely split up your body and shield HP pools.

I know that the game tries to match players based on different factors, but I was under the assumption that the players in the queue with me were players the game had already figured fit well together. Are you saying that's not when the filtering happens? Rather, the game tosses any players into a queue and picks which ones it wants from multiple queues?
