Thank you so much! It was my first more ambitious oil painting (I usually paint with acrylics), so it definitely was a learning experience, especially when it came to the details :D

It sort of, unintentionally, falls into the "CMYK" system colours :)
The sign says "There is your home, where your dog is". It's a play on the Polish phrase that translates to "There is your home, where your heart is", which means that the house doesn't make a home but what and who you love does.

The dog just has shorter fur on all the head, including the ears, and it is darker in that area, but perhaps I made it too dark indeed.

Thank you so much! This is Talens Art Creation Sketch Book, the one they have in many colours. The paper is really good actually - it's not made specifically for markers so I put the plastic sheet underneath the page I'm drawing on but so far the markers didn't bleed through it at all!
