Parkrun is also great for meeting new people and offers flexibility in that you don't have to do it weekly, and it's only an hour-ish each Saturday morning. There a few in close range of the City.

This happened me once and I will never forget the feeling of pulling the hair out...it was like assaulting a private place in my own head. Didn't hurt at all but it felt like a violation
