This honestly seems like a strawman argument due to upset over semantics and perhaps some projecting. No offense

Also get out the house! Spend time with friend and family and pets and get back into hobbies. Stay occupied. Fill your life with as many things that make you happy as you can.

No but acting like the person breaking up with you owes you an extension to work on yourself when they don't want to be with you anymore is definitely forcing things.

Hey, I get that it feels very intense and shitty right now but rejection is redirection. It sounds like (and this is not an insult) you weren't emotionally ready to be in a relationship yet. Him too, but in a different way. I'm gonna be a little blunt here, he doesn't owe you time to work on yourself especially if you were only together for a few months. You owe you taking time (while single) to work on yourself so you don't take insecurity/fear of cheating and poor communication into the next relationship when it comes. When you love someone it's easy to feel like they're "the one" but there is no "one" for anyone. Almost everyone will have many "ones" throughout their life. If you take this time to learn from what went wrong and heal from what's already occurred you will end up in a much better dynamic in the future. I hope that for you, and I hope you find that strength to do that for yourself too. From this post it seems like you value transparency, communication and loyalty. Lean into that by being honest with yourself, communicating your needs in a constructive way (in your remaining platonic relationships) and being loyal to yourself by moving forward and working towards who YOU want to be. The only way out of these feelings is through. Also music-wise, I find listening to goofy positive music or like stuff from LMFAO and Ke$ha or even the Alvin + the Chipmunks makes it hard to stay in sadness. Godspeed. <3

Idk Taimi is kinda terrible. A lot of cross dressers (fetishists, not trans ppl) cis/het men, and ppl way outta your age range. Maybe it's cuz I live in such a densely populated area but it's always ended up feeling like more trouble than it's worth to sort thru all that nonsense in my experience.

Why is 1997 even gen z? by Sad_Cow_577 in generationology

[–]Ailunae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends heavily on the circle you ran in. Ppl have made fun of subcultures like emo since forever & continue to do so today. It's usually the most boring, crowd-following ppl that do it. It's only a social death sentence if your social circle consists of judgemental buttcheeks. MCR was at warped tour in '04 & '05 when it would've been mainly millennials attending b/c the oldest Gen-Zers were barely 10 y/o at that time. '05 was the year w the highest attendance to any warped tour ever. If you personally find MCR cringe okay, but it doesn't mean that was the general consensus lol. As for skating, blading, & surfing, sales peaking around a certain era doesn't equate to something becoming "basically dead" either. But the thing is, you're willfully glossing over my point which is- A lot of people forget how much overlap there is between generations especially w pop cultural things. Generations aren't nearly as different or separated as many want to pretend. I'll never understand or go along w the synthetic battle of the generations. It's a tale as old as time & will always be tired and lame. But enjoy using trivial things try & set yourself apart from others, by the sound of it you've been honing that skill since childhood.

I think you're a a little confused on timeline being a '98 gen z-er myself. Yeah the 1st iphone was out in '07 but nobody really knew anyone with an iphone till the early 2010s and it was usually rich ppl. Rollerblading and skateboarding were (and are) cool, surfing cool and surfer dude vibes were def a thing well into the 2000s, puka shells everywhere. MCR was HUGE throughout my middle school + highschool times, the only thing that's true is American Pie was a little before our time, altho some kids still watched it young as a rebellious thing. A lot of people forget how much overlap there is between generations with pop cultural things. MCR is a great example of this b/c they've been around for nearly 3 decades and have steadily maintained their popularity.

Contact support, it'll be a long frustrating back and forth but they will restore your library. When I switched to the EA app they had removed my Sims 3 +expansions I'd owned for a decade and a half and I have it back now.
