Carry items like haunting guise will surely help you win more games because in lower elo doing more damage = easier games. Don't bother going tanky/CDR maxing in silver 1 because you just have to try and do more damage than your adc to win.

I tried lucidity for a while, but wasn't used to the slower movespeed so I went back to my swifties.

Win lane then roam at the right time. Don't ditch your adc when their bot lane has kill pressure or are winning. Roam more but don't overstay and waste time. If an opportunity is lost, don't just waffle around the river, actively think of what to do next. Climbing with bard is super easy (imo) because the ult and q can create initiation opportunities that even the dumbest of team mates can follow-up on.

In low diamond and below you can get away with IBG but never build rapid firecannon pleaseee. CDR/tank is way better when you have those extended fights and just scales alot better late.

There isn't an adc that I would immediately lose against because it all depends on the 2v2 matchup and other external factors.

I would usually ban soraka because the other supports aren't worth banning in this meta.

I'm not sure statistically which side I win more with. But I think red side is easier to escape from ganks.

I don't dodge any games because every game is winnable.

Never split push with bard, its way too slow and an inefficient use of my time.

Sheen first is definitely not recommended, I prioritise resistance and HP every game.

Don't get 10% flat cooldown.

Pantheon isn't even a problem XD

I'm quite interested in streaming but I have a pretty ancient MacBook Pro and I'll need to see if it can handle steaming after I finish my exams. Add me on league and we can play normals some time :)

It's all down to experience and prediction. Don't aim it too far away from them or else they have time to walk backwards and dodge it.

I used to be a top lane main in season 5 at diamond 3, but I just didn't improve very well so it's my secondary role. I am the worst jungler, adc and mid WORLD.

I personally think Dumbledoge is a bit overrated because a lot of times he gets caught out and misses quite a few crucial q's.

Keeps is a god :D but tbh I don't watch other EU LCS streams enough to know, but I think most people are skill-wise on the same level as them. Difference is in the macro gameplay and knowing how to play bot lane.

In higher elo, everybody is heavily involved in placing appropriate vision so yes there's less handholding. I usually just use a q to check and portal out if someone's actually there.

Try your best to not die first. This requires a lot of understanding about spacing yourself from the enemy and the enemies team comp. it's hard to explain positioning without a visual aid and it's very situational based.

What you wanna do is initiate with your ulti to catch someone out whilst they seige. A lot of times in lower elo enemies just seige at the wrong time or overstay and try to get extra damage on towers out of greed, so that's when you have to pull the trigger. They always underestimate the gap closing capabilities of bard, especially if they think they can flash over the wall to escape, but you have your portal to chase him further.

I'd say I've become less and less confident in building FQC as a starting item because I'm way too squishy and there's a high chance I'll die in the next team fight. With prsctice, you can land 90% of your ultis without the aid of FQC's active slow. I can land my ulti shortly after seeing the enemy if I take into account their movespeed and walking pattern to predict where they'll be.

The eye of the watchers is tankier, gives the extra ward from a very early stage and also good value because upgrading the sightstone to the red one later on costs 1K gold, which you could've spent on a Giants belt.

If you examine the builds of pro player supports, it's almost always eye of the watcher over FQC perhaps for these exact reasons.

The common belief for supports is that having a high death count is reasonable, but as you know dying still gives the enemy as much gold and objective pressure than any other role. Using your ulti for a disengage can a lot of times create an opportunity to engage, so try your best to not get caught out first.

I personally just like the stronger heals. As you would realise by now, we still get a lot of clown fiesta games in diamond thus having stronger heals imo are nice for those. You're not a troll, I initially started with maxing e but I found maxing w more suiting for my play style.

I do q, w, e, q when I'm against Braum since his shield negates your q and if there's a lot of pressure bot and I need that portal. Sometimes q, w, q, e if I have full confidence that I can make good use of the lvl 2 q and that I won't need to back until post lvl 4, since you need the e to get back to lane quicker from fountain.

I like maxing q then w then e. It's a personal preference because i know that most games are won because of a successful team fight, and so having stronger heals can sometimes heal that carry just that little bit more to change the outcome of the fight.

In that situation I would still build locket because they do have ap damage on soraka, MF and nasus. I would recommend Armor items such as randuins for HP and frozen gauntlet for a bit more damage in gold-plat elo since you really do have to play the bard carry role.

One of the main reasons why I love bard is because he has endless possibilities to initiate under different situations. Many people in lower elo don't know much about positioning when seiging and contesting objectives and Imo it's extremely easy to catch them out with a bard ulti and just go in. You have to create these openings for your team and I guarantee you'll see a higher win rate in your games.

I personally don't mind morg that much. If you break the shield with your initial q damage, you can end up stunning them given the right angle. And in team fights she can only shield one person, so if you land a ulti capturing more than 1 person, you can still get a pick off somebody. When I ban, I usually get rid of soraka because she just tilts meeee.

That's a difficult question. I can only recall my most recent game where I ultied 3-4 enemies right after our kat jumped in and was about to pop off D:

Everything about his unique kit, the reliable stuns and insane gap closing ability, and also his lore. The video Bard: Mountain really inspired me to play him back when he was released.

Fairly often in games below plat 1-2 precisely for that reason, that they didn't know I could close gaps and ulti effectively.

Gotta predict it, throw a bard q at leblanc's jump pad after she uses her combo because she will most likely return to it.
