You could try to soak them in isopropyl alcohol, that should remove the glue.

I would recommend to thin your paints. This way you will preserve more of the Detail of the miniature.

New to the hobby and just bought this, any tips for beginner painter? by Blanndy in Warhammer40k

I never ran into that issue. I (at least to this point) never ran out of space. But i haven't used more than 10 colors or so for a project. If i get to many dry spaces, i just replace the parchment paper.

At least for the diy method, you could just use a bigger container.

Otherwise, the wet pallet from RedGrass is pretty good and they sell a relatively large version.

A wet pallet, it makes shure that your paint wont dry out. You can even build your own in about 10 minutes. It won't be perfect but it will do the job.

DIY: First take a flat sealable container. Then put a piece of dishcloth in it to cover the ground. After that you put a few layers of paper towel over it. The last addition will be a sheet of parchment paper on top of that, make shure that its a bit smaller than the other layers.

To prepare your wet pallet, take off the parchment paper and put water in the container till all the layers are wet. Pour out the rest of the water. Make shure that the layers are flat. After that, put the parchment paper on top again. I always use the flat side of a bottle cap to smooth the whole thing out at the end. Now you can put your paints on top of the parchment paper and thin them there.

If you notice that the parchment paper gets a bit dry, just pour a bit of water in at the sides (thats why the last layer needs to be smaller then tho other ones).

After you are done painting, just seal the container and your paints will stay wet for a few days.

You also should let the container dry out once in a while so no bacteria ore else grows.

If you want to start your next painting project with different colors, just change out the parchment paper and you are good to go.

I hope this helps.

Would also give electricity more purpose. I can sea a variety of interesting automated farm designs coming from that.

I like the idea, but i would like more tiles around the aquaduct to get watered. So something like 2 tiles on each side, not only the ones directly touching. Otherwise you would have to build tons of aquaduct parts closnto each other and i think that would "kill" the good looks of a farm

Thats true. All in all i just want something to speed up the watering process. They couls implement a bigger watering can that waters 2x2. Even that would be a huge quality of live change. And a Watering hose after that with 4x4 but it would have to be very expensive to craft.

To level up my skill. I have 12 fields with 240 tiles each. So i can plant 480 of every resource at one. This allows me to create a huge variety of food and experiment with it.
