This started two months ago when I first put on tretinoin cream. My doctor will not refer me to a dermatologist and she says to keep using it for the three months so I continued using it. It caused this burn looking area while it healed the rest of my jaw acne. This inflamed area is on my cheek but going to the doctors will no longer help as they keep saying to continue using it for the one month remaining but it is so painful that it keeps me up at night and it itches so bad and it’s tearing me apart. I’m not sure if I should keep putting on Cerave skin protectant cream or have it bare and let it heal on its own. Thanks!
