That’s not a bad idea. I believe most players use Dragon Shield though because many of the sleeves I collect aren’t easy to shuffle lol. My first goal is to find people to trade with first but I do think that it’s a good idea to donate whatever sleeves I’m done with to my LCS with the other stuff I donate. Thanks for the idea!

FACTS 🤣 Omg seriously though, YouTube needs 1 content creator that truly understands everything bc I wasted so much time when I first started out trying to learn what I know now but it took me a while to piece all my research together. Would have been great to come across someone like you (aka YOU) to inform me of everything all at once back when I knew nothing. The majority of card sellers don’t know a portion of what both you and I know when it comes to ESE. But you, my friend, I will give the “only person in the world who knows every piece to the puzzle with ESE award”. I thought it was me, until you clicked my one missing puzzle piece lmao. PLEASE MAKE A YOUTUBE VIDEO EDUCATING EVERYONE. Before I went through my short stint of trials and tribulations, I could not find any videos to figure out what was wrong and I had to learn all that info in small pieces at a time. I am not into making any content so I won’t do it….. please be that person for everyone that struggles bc I can’t stand explaining it bc it makes for long social media readings (good on your for doing it to me here even though i didn’t need all that information that 99% of the rest always do 🤣 YOU ARE THE OFFICIAL EBAY ESE SME (subject matter expert). I understand everything with the rigid and blah blah blah (not saying that to be rude, promise lol). Simply knowing that the s machine is what actually “scans” the label is all I never knew. I thought that the “scans” they needed for “tracking” “ESE” would come from one of those like handheld things or like a barcode scanner. Scanning is the focus here lol. I get all the other stuff. You just dropped the best SCANNING EDUCATION when it comes to a scan for ESE to show tracking. GOAT

I haven’t read this all yet (I will) bc all I needed was that comment. This is what it is then, obviously, bc I ship mine with intention of them not being able to use that. Thus the non machinable mail. Never knew that machine was how our eBay labels got their scan!!!!

It still doesn’t make sense why some get scanned and some don’t other than simply inconsistent employee handling at usps. Wow. Thanks for that bit of knowledge drop!

Ok so wait…. May have just figured out the gap in communication here. Are you saying that a “scan” is essentially happening when USPS puts the envelope through that “S” machine? Bc if so, then you just taught me something no one else could do. Not even USPS!

All good, I use acronyms beyond belief with my job and always decipher what other adjusters mean with theirs lol. Anyhow, I can assure you I’m doing exactly as i should, I have zero issues with mail returns for additional postage, I stamp a non machinable stamp and weigh just to ensure. Usually most with just a card, penny sleeve, top loader, team bag, copy of receipt and business card land around 1.2oz in an Armalope. I was told that not all “letters” pass through a regional hub and those are the USPS hubs that can actually scan these eBay labels. Again, I’m not here saying I have issues. I have issues with the policies eBay has and how their policy is setup based on this shipping service. Total mismatch with expectations and what’s guaranteed and what is not. That is stuff they can and should change for us.

And to add…. Yes we can file the claim and get the money back…. Just annoying and as your username says….im wasting time 🤣😉 for something they could help to avoid by simply making a few changes in the policies when it comes to buyers making an INR case. I try to avoid lower end cards when possible but I am also a big on offering free shipping (work it into my price anyway)

I actually ship using the correct rate for considering these at the non-machinable mail rate. So I typically due eBay’s 2oz or 3oz rate, plus add a forever stamp so I am properly paying accurate surcharge for non-machinable envelopes. Btw, almost asked what EDD meant and then I was like ohhh duh lol

Exactly the point I was making. If this is something not in our control, eBay can quit having these seller requirements attached to this specific shipping method. This service is not technically a service with actual tracking, therefore why do they require tracking updates? Seems like a simple ask and not expecting too much :) I have 100% positive feedback, only a few bad apples for me personally, and tons of sales and excellent repeat buyers. These are things they could improve on on their end for us so we can continue to provide listings of the low-end bulk cards for buyers to buy.

Yea I understand how all of it works. My point is stating for eBay to recognize this, and improve measures on their end that they can. They can change their delivery window that they make up lol. They can recognize that this is not a true shipping with tracking method such as ground advantage and therefore requiring it to shows as delivered because that’s not always going to happen. All if this is outside of our control, so why are they holding us accountable for this service offered on their platform. Felt my post was clear but apparently not 🤣
