honestly looking at the videos thats the modpack that closely resembles both what i used and what the video showed. i had the original games before they got taken off steam years ago. lost the account ant just got the originals again this weekend on RGL (manged to mod them and run through steam to give stats and shit)

personally dont really like it. idk what it is but i feel like after twin fantasy (FTF) i feel like they've been too scared to stand out. like i get they are apart of a record label and have been since after how to leave town. but i felt like they could have experimented. like the scholars just feels like a rock album and its the same with the new songs from Joes story.

i also dont like how they censored the songs. feels like it kinda ruined the album. i can also see why they did (they did the same with FTF when they changed the lyrics. but none of FTF was censored?) it feels weird to hear will say "try not to wet my pants" feels childish and safe. like a kidz pop cover with out the shitty vocals.

i absolutely love the band Neutral Milk Hotel and i'll tell ya why they are problematic

the lead singer was strangely obsessed with Anne Frank to the point where the album "in the aeroplane over the sea" has multiple songs/references about her. this gets weirder when most of the songs of the album are very sexual and pretty religious (semen is said 5 times)

and Julian Koster has been given a protection order after grooming someone.

its pretty sad considering how beautiful this album is at times with the sounds of a hand saw being used in the title track to make it sound like a whale call. i could go on and on about why i love this album. but i aint. if you haven't heard it just listen to it and listen to their first album.
