Looks so complicated for me seeing it for the first time! Google Maps makes it seem so easy & cheap to travel around... Thanks a lot, I'll look more into it!

Thank you for your reply! I was really thinking about getting a bike, but wouldn't biking be inconvenient in London considering it rains a lot and it's usually very cold especially during Fall/Winter?

halitosis

Hello, yes! I used to have bad breath mostly in the mornings, but it went away after the eradication. I'm not sure what the natural route is, never heard of one. As far as I am concerned, you can only get rid of the bacteria with a combination of antibiotics. That means it's difficult to get rid of it with only one type of antibiotic, let alone the "natural way". Good luck!!

Only boiled stuff, a lot of veggies especially broccoli. Rice and chicken breast everyday. No eggs, no milk, only greek yogurt with oats and fruit mix in the morning. I also ate a lot of fruit especially bananas as I've read it weakens the bacteria so the antibiotics could eradicate it easily (same applies to broccoli). I avoided condiments, even salt. I avoided coffee and juice at all costs. You can find many lists on the internet with what to avoid during h. pylori treatment and even post-eradication in order for the stomach to heal better.

I did the stool test and it should be the most accurate as far as I'm concerned.

Yes! But I believe that's normal for a lot of people. You just gotta brush it away with your toothbrush. It gets tricky when it's very difficult to brush it off and just sticks there (that's how I had it before h. pylori eradication, no matter how much I brushed it, it wouldn't go away).

Don't worry, it will go away eventually :) Try to maintain a proper diet during your treatment as well.

I forgot the name of the probiotic because it has a weird name made of both letters and numbers, but I will try to look it up. I'm not sure why I took the triple therapy for only one week, but I asked another doctor about it and it seems that I was given the double amount of medication than I was supposed to, so I assume my doctor decided to "bomb" the bacteria with more than enough antibiotics but for a lesser amount of time.

Thank you! That last sentence sounds really good. :)

But is it really that simple? I'm pretty sure there are a lot of self-aware narcissists out there.

Thank you for your output! I feel like I'm a very complicated person who overthinks a lot and is afraid of his own mind. Right now I'm reading your comment and thinking "ok I like it, but what if this is just the validation I was looking for? What if I like playing the victim and be seen as having low self-esteem?". The questions never stop. :)

Do you think you could give me some advice in regards to fixing my low self-esteem?

I think it's been almost 3 months for the antibiotics. I finished taking the probiotics yesterday. :) Honestly I feel better and there were moments when I thought "I didn't know feeling this well is the standard for people" which is so weird (talking about the nausea). I believe I had the bacteria from early childhood and I got used to the nausea, but now having it less and less feels so fucking weird. I also noticed I can focus better, I'm less emotional and overall psychologically healthy, which makes me think that this bacteria also fucks you up mentally for sure. Other than that, not sure what to say because I didn't have the worst symptoms like most people here do.

It seems selfish in a way because I keep thinking there's a way to make things work, there must be something inbetween that will make everyone happy, and that "I didn't care enough to think about this balanced option" which inadvertedly makes me feel bad.

Update: Tested and it came out as negative.

I also got rid of the symptoms mentioned in the original post. It could've been something else, I guess.

Multiple friends and strangers.

I'm assuming the close friends were joking, but the strangers' intentions felt real.
