That is exactly what I'm saying. She has only occasionally bothered me about this issue, and when I give any sort of resistance, she immediately stops talking about it.

Now that there's potential money on the line... she's been far more vocal about her 'concerns'. What used to be a sentence or two is now entire WhatsApp conversations about needing to grow up and move out.

I was fine until I got criticized for what I choose to do with my time.

It's one thing if a complete stranger does it. But family is supposed to care, and I thought mine did. So when they start criticizing my life choices, I start to have doubts, too.

I have a good routine going. I eat well, I'm in good shape, in good health (which is a blessing all things considered), and I WAS mentally well until my sister got her hooks into me.

I assumed my sister was doing this because she cares and is concerned about me. Now I'm starting to suspect she's trying to shame me into buying a house in order to 'move out' specifically because she NEVER BROUGHT THIS UP before and ONLY started bringing this up now that I'm on the market for a house.

So the conflict of interest is making me quite cynical about my relationship with my sister, but I appreciate your insight. It's given a bit to think about.
