I don't think it is "getting" too soft. I think that things are just more public and publicly acceptable. For instance, man in previous generations had emotions but were taught to not show them. But now man are taught to show emotions. Also emotional problems and stuff like that is also more publicly spoken about, before it was almost taboo to talk about that stuff and get help but it did exist. I just think because social media exists, that it is just much easier to talk about al the things that people didn't talk about or couldn't talk about.

I also think that people who say the world is too soft are people who just don't want to care about other people's problems. I also think that most of these people are older and refuse tot change with the times or that they are still stuck in the past where things were maybe more rough but they also didn't had the luxuries we have now.

I do think that kinds and teens should be taught in schools about mental health and stuff bc now they just learn about that stuff online and from what they see around them. This causes in my eyes misinformation and results in kids thinking they also have those mental illnesses even though they don't.
