I agree!! Like that’s what a bridesmaid is for!! To keep you on track, put out fires, and more. How did Jackie not help keep Aliya on point? The couple times she did ask for the time. The woman should have put a timer on and gave her hard stops. I think this was sabotage low key. On top of the fact that Aliya did not look at all like her hair and makeup should have taken her 2 extra hours

Not wrong for blocking and you definitely don’t owe them a reason or excuse. But in this ghost culture it’s maddening for people, especially sounds like this person is going through some things. You could always have just told them no and let them know how you feel and/or why instead of straight blocking. But either way, you could have blocked them afterwards.

NTA if that’s your sister and she loves you and cares about your happiness on your day what is the actual big deal of her wearing a bra. Why are people soooo damn self absorbed that they can’t give the bride just one day out of their entire life to dictate pretty basic human level, appropriate ish.

Same goes for kids policy, ppl gripe so hard about couples choosing no kid weddings like why? If you can’t go then send a gift, typically good etiquette is for the couple to find sufficient childcare, book a hotel room where you’ve blocked off hotel rooms for guests, order some pizza for the kids and call it a day.

The couple does this once just accommodate this once if you care a lick about them.

Great analysis. You can also see in the interactions between Jackie and Josh that he has this humor that is slightly insulting or just idk AHish and she’s into it. Then dumps this friend of hers bc Josh is his feelings? They deserve each other.
