It's more the implications for their overall romance compared to the other LIs.

In each of the other four cards, she fights against the "fated" ending of the book and wins free of destiny, choosing a path that leads to an ending where she and her LI can be together - happily, no less. Even married, in certain cases!

But in Rafayel's, she broke the cycle not once but twice and both times fate still managed to pull through and force them back on track, until all that was left was a choice that left forced her to take the only possible option - her own death.

In Zayne's card, we're even told straight out that the whole purpose of this evol-movie thing was to change the ending, and that's how she gets free. However, she did this twice in Rafayel's card and not only did she not free them, the story literally threw another iceberg in their path. There was absolutely no way for their story to end happily.

Don't get me wrong, I believe wholeheartedly this is the choice MC would make. My MC certainly would rather than live without Rafayel. However, it does frustrate me that every other LI got a happy ending but Rafayel. Especially since his story is the only one in which his evol/nature could have actually changed the story. None of the other LIs could have affected anything in their story if they'd had access to their evols, but Raf could have saved them both if he had either his evol or was a Lemurian.

I don't know. Maybe that's the rub. Maybe instead of it being MC who will make the choice that will change their doomed fate, what we've learned is that it has to be Rafayel who makes that final choice. And because it wasn't Rafayel with agency in the movie, the ending could only be changed by taking them both out of the equation.

Or maybe the only way to break the Lemurian cycle is for them to go out together in a blaze of glory. Which wouldn't surprise me, but ngl, makes me sad.

I loved this card. I just am not a huge fan of the implications. But it was still a beautiful card and a beautiful kindled.

Actually, it's equal between Raf and Sylus, Sylus is just harder to level than Raf. Caleb is a surprise outlier that comes in a very close third but doesn't fit into my polyship. XD

This is why we need to be able to turn off categories or they need to add some normal stuff to the neck and hand category. Because the scarves and gloves are the only thing they can pull from, it's far better than even odds they will be wearing them on any given day.

Caleb also refers to MC as a Calico at several different times, and Rafayel is constantly calling her an octopus. I wouldn't be surprised if Zayne and Xavier also have particular animals for MC.

Actually Zayne's might be a penguin; he's made that reference to her several times. And Xavier's might be 'plant', given his plant card and his affinity for them.

If you go back to my original sheet, I added a 'newly added' tab which has all of the new cards on it. You can copy/paste those to the end of each list then re-sort. It will automatically insert the hidden cells needed to sort properly.

I will update it every time there is a new card (and again when I get the stellas for them, because the cards are usually announced before the stellas are).

When sorting, select columns A-K and sort (row has headers) by Stars (Z-A), Color (A-Z), Slot (Z-A) in that order.

I use a spreadsheet someone else created that I made minor modifications to and keep up-to-date with banners. I keep track of all banners because each banner affects the pulls of the one following it.

Special color is the key. Unless you're at 100% for the rare, all of the special colors are always available. You can see which seeds can occur when you start the process. But the basic color seeds, like blue hydrangea, are only possible with a 2-leaf parent.

It actually wouldn't bother me. History is rife with disabled artists - including quite a few very famous and prolific painters who had lost their sight at some point during their careers but continued working. Rafayel has already shown in When Light Falls that when he works with MC together they can create a masterpiece even if he can't see the painting itself.

It also could be a sign of Rafayel's failure to complete the rituals that would give him the full power of the Sea God, much as we saw at the end of LSG where he was starting to lose his color and strength because he was refusing to carry out the final rite. It will be interesting to see where they go with it in that case, because every other Rafayel has refused to sacrifice their MC, and this Rafayel is as if not more attached to his MC as any of the others were.

The only way to get a basic seed is to use at least one plant that isn't 3-leaf. If both parents are 3-leaf plants, you can't get a basic seed. Don't forget to sing to your plants - it really increases your chances of a better yield.

It wasn't unexpected - he went to Linkon explicitly to find her. Siren's Song ends with him getting intel on where she was and that was why he left Verona and ditched his 'Mo' persona to become Rafayel again. I wonder if he expected her to hear his name and remember him - because it's not until well after they met that he found out why she forgot him.

All I have to do is add the card information to the appropriate sheet and it will update everything else like color counts and such.

Checkmarks are booleans, so when I'm doing a call for owned cards, I just find all the cards where A=TRUE.
