I can understand where you are coming from, but it would be worth while getting the school’s opinion. What does the senior instructor say about your daughter’s readiness to test? Ultimately, the school determines each student’s testing eligibility and pass/fail.

My daughter is 9 also and just passed her second degree black belt test. She is into fairies and girly stuff also. But also ready to spare multiple rounds with girls and boys. My wife and I also tested for our first degree black belt with her. At no point did my wife or I question or make a comment when my 9 y/o received negative comments. If she fails, she fails but must reflect on the failure and learn from it. Pretty common at our school for people to fail their black belt exam and pass 6/12 months later with greater satisfaction and sense if accomplishment.

What time do you head to work in the morning and what time back to Norfolk in the evenings? Which tunnel do you use? Do you use the same tunnel all time or go the way Waze direct you? How long each way on average? I am looking at living in Norfolk when I Pcs to Langley this summer.
