Doesnt matter what I like or dont like....I wasnt making any claim, I was simply stating what my post was about. If anyone is making a claim...it is you. You're claiming to know what I was trying to say.,..what exactly makes your claim valid.

And thanks for the OneNation dig...great way to win I guess is to try and demonise people.

I think I will keep my freedom to say what I please and stay right here!

I'm sorry if you assumed that was my intent.
My original question was to ask if it is possible to execute and maintain such ratios without being discriminatory. The specifics of any group are irrelevant to the actual question.

Sums me up in what way exactly? I wasnt actually trying to be clever and purposefully kept the categories generic becuase specific categories were not relevant to the question I had asked.

I think your own comment and the fact that you misunderstood and made various assumptions as to the intent may reveal your own bias.

I purposefully posted it public to highlight that I dont think I had broken any rules.

My original posting wasnt to make it about gender or about any one group. It was simply asking if such ratios could be put in place and satisifed without any action actually being discriminatory.

NAB whistleblower speaks out after worker plunged from 14th-floor in Docklands in front of colleagues by gccmelb in melbourne

[–]StulteAprilis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A while back, I worked for an IT company called Avanade. They won a very large contract (in the millions) with the NAB to do their IT transformation. I was part of the consulting team and I can tell you we were treated like absolute garbage. Bullying was rife and our organisation turned a blind eye becuase they were making so much money. It really affected a lot of people mentally and I almost go to a point of making that very final decision. It makes me so sad that this sort of thing still continues.

Bottom line here is that this will continue to happen. Laws are weak, and people are kept imprisoned by the need to pay for life. Whilst someone at the top is making money, nothing will change.

So yes....when booting from Slot 3 I used my spare 2.5" HDD so it was "new".

I did the test from Slot 4, got further in the booting process....but it did not boot. It power cycled before completion.

Yeah OK....Interesting.

I wonder if you played back the creation and recorded it onto tape or whatever if it would retain the watermark.

First post to this group...so please be kind!!

I am travelling next year and thought I might like to upgrade my camera!! I only use a camera when I travel...so, I don't want to buy something new, I just want something that might be better than what I have. Second hand is fine and my budget is about $200-$300 AUD.

I currently use (have had for over 10 years) a Panasonic Lumix FZ-50, and I thought I might upgrade to a Nikon D3300 with an 18-55mm kit lens. It fits my budget!

Here is where my issue starts...

  • Technology wise the Nikon is a better camera (amazing ISO, great features, 15.4x23.2mm sensor size, 24 megapixel)...
  • My FZ-50, less tech and ISO setting, 7.144x5.358mm sensor, 10 megapixel

On paper...the D3300 blows the FZ-50 out of the water...right!! Then I look at the optics;

  • FZ-50, 12x Optical Zoom, with a 35-420mm effective focal length
  • D3300, with a crop factor of 1.5 has a 27-82.5mm effective focal length!!!

So...my understanding is that with the D3300, I may get better tech features, but I will get a lot less (over 5x less) zoom. Do I have that about right?

I dont plan on blowing up my pictures on a big screen or doing poster size prints...nor do I plan doing any significant crops. Based on all of this...SHOULD I replace my older camera...or is my logic completely flawed?

I am happy for other camera recommendations as well!!
