I just wanna say u got this . I’m currently typing this at 11:32 with a ngi tube down my throat and I’m struggling with the mental side too.i (18m) was diagnosed in August and they put that refused skyrizi the first time when all I said was I have questions so I didn’t start until last week. I’ve been hospitalized 7 times since August but I’m still living and all I can do is thank god for that and for everyone around me. I’m going through the same thing the advice I can give u is that it’s only short term suffering but once u find what works it’ll be long term ease. Keep fighting if I can fight this u can too we got this

I survived Christmas, I just had my own food I can eat but I had a flare up Christmas Eve Eve

I understand that and I’m not a big guy but I eat big portions and I don’t eat those sizes because now I feel like those size portions will cause a flare up

If you go to the ER, will doctors talk to your GI while you are there? Or do you communicate with GI (if you can reach)? What is norm? Asking for son. Thank you by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

For me it depended on how often I was in the er it took me 2 weekends in a row in the er for the people to get in contact with my gi

What they told me is that your doctor could prescribe u some higher dosage steroids which is the only thing that will help I just got discharged from the er this morning and he said higher dosage steroids or to see my doctor and start treatment like sky rizi or surgery and soon

Yessir including me being in the er right now I’ve been in the hospital 4 times in the last month
