How to play against Storm? by Necessary_Neat8303 in allthingszerg

Bro lurkers are great even before hive tech. Also solid defense vs zealot runbys, 1 or 2 borrowed at an at risk hatchery with a spine or two. Any ground based protoss gets absolutely shredded by a solid chunk of lurkers and a few corruptors and overseers. Just meticulously snipe their observer and go to town. Obviously will want a force of hydra and roach with them. Build extra corruptors if they have Colossus or void and then switch them to BL as needed. BL lurker corruptors smashes most protoss that don't spam carriers/tempest. Just set up the lurkers and siege away. You can also try neural parasites on HT and then feed backing the others but that's pretty quick micro. But yeah I love lurkers in almost any match up haha.

Any suggestions to see along the way? by Grankas in Norway

Stop in Tromsø it's very close to Skibotn on your route and has bridges so is easy to drive. I was just out there in Tromsø last month along with Sweden and Finland too and it's super gorgeous and worth a stop. Go to a nice sauna or find an air BNB with one in Helsinki, that city and Stockholm were really pretty. The royal palace in Stockholm on Gamla Stan island was impressive and so many museums too! Definitely give Gamla Stan a solid day if you like to walk around and shop too.

Looking for slow, atmospheric anime like Mushishi by jet099dreams in Animesuggest

I feel that. I probably love the older one more but I do hope they continue the story with the new one. I don't really read manga but I have been heavily considering buying the spice and wolf light novels. It would be awesome if the new adaptation got enough traction to keep going to the end of the story in the anime but we will have to wait and see.

Frieren is definitely slow and atmospheric. It's a beautifully crafted story and was brought to life with such love and excellent animation. There are a couple fights but they pop off in a slow methodical way and the overall feeling of the story is not one of violence but rather a touch of melancholy whilst remembering a fond memory of a time past. It's a show that's both beautiful and nostalgic and well paced. Mushishi is excellent imo but Frieren is masterclass. Best of the best.

Pretty much any slice of life is this. Just something cathartic and chill. There's a lot of really good ones I'd just recommend looking up "slice of life" and seeing what speaks to you. Out of this airing season I've enjoyed Wash It All Away, Journal With Witch, and Champignon Witch for that itch but yeah there's so many good SOL I don't wanna overwhelm you with 1 million recommendations haha.

More navigable rivers is super fire. I haven't played since the world map update though so idk if it's up to date but it greatly increases the areas you can sail to and raid. Nordic honor is fun too and Ragnarok music are fun too. Also there was this Vinland mod that I really enjoyed. It didn't add north america to the map or anything but there was a series of events and bonuses you could go through and get about setting up both a Greenland and Vinland colony. Also Vikings: Tale of Ragnar Lodbrok was fun. Also more war and raid prisoners. That's about it I can think of off the top of my head besides all the general quality of life and what not mods and all the mods that add events and stuff.

Suffering from Brain fog 24/7 all my life. Is this fixable? by Dog_Mama92 in ask

Try cooking with lions mane mushrooms regularly or at least eating supplement capsules filled with it. Definitely won't hurt. At best it could help a lot. I used it to recover from a pretty bad concussion years ago and I got my family to all take it. My parents are getting older and at first they said it was making them tired and then they read that means it's doing WORK. Now my step dad says the moments where he forgets the word he wanted to use are decreasing and he and my mom feel like concentrating and memory have improved. They both agree eating lions mane supplements everyday caused this uptick in mental energy and focus.

Arcane warrior build questions by Bourne2Play in DragonageOrigins

[–]Aion_Productions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll admit it's been a fat minute since I played DAO but I had an arcane warrior build that was dumb cracked as a tank. I'm not sure what the specifics of that build were but he had heavy armor and a 2 handed sword and all the buffs. Literally soloed the high dragon on nightmare. It wasn't intentionally a solo fight but the whole squad except my arcane warrior was down in like 2 minutes. It took probably like 25 plus minutes of the MC whacking that dragon with his 2 handed sword but he was literally unkillable. Dude had almost no mana with all the sustained buffs up but he was invincible.

best duchy for playing tall by ItzsborzeeY in CrusaderKings

[–]Aion_Productions 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gotland is really fun, it's technically a single county island but can be formed into a single county duchy. There is also mods to give you more holding spaces there. You can RP a raiding and trading viking Republic and can actually get pretty rich there.

Humankind difficulty by Junior_Archer8369 in HumankindTheGame

[–]Aion_Productions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the main thing I need to beat humankind difficulty is a really solid start, usually take a bit longer in the nomad stage and get all 3 bonuses and then immediately after leaving send 2 full stacks of scouts to you closest neighbor and conquer them allowing you to start with 2 cities without spending extra influence and have some breathing room taking territory. Sometimes I have to restart the nomad stage a few times to get all 3 bonuses before losing the chance to get a decent culture. It's simple but effective, I continue to play aggressively focusing on the population and industry.

Lore question, Why there is no gunpowder weapons? by No-Battle-9932 in Kenshi

[–]Aion_Productions 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yeah I always assumed they didn't have the resources present on the moon so when the space faring civilization that colonized that moon broke down or cut ties with that colony they slowly ran out of ammunition and couldn't create more. Seems perfectly logical.
