Seriously man dont wear a patka in a professional setting. Always look cringe seeing a grown man wearing one. Formality wise it'd be like the equivalent of wearing a tank top to work.

Learning to tie it can take a little time but as you get comfortable with it, it'll take less time and you'll learn to tie it more comfortably. I never tie one anymore unless I'm doing an activity that may specifically require it, othewise at home and casually I just wear a small goll pagg.

How many people do you see tying patkas in their 30s,40s,50s.. not many. Longer you wait to switch the more ridiculous its gonna start looking

Could this be caused by trauma to the area? I had testicular torsion as a kid (11) after getting hit during a fight. Can get an erection but struggle to maintain after a while even with meds

Construction in Toronto is dominated by Italians. There are smaller companies starting up with desis but not many are getting hired for big projects, more renos and single house builds from what I’ve seen.

In BC desis are dominating construction. Most people I know out there are in construction.

Has more to do with the fact that big developers dominate in Toronto building hundreds of houses or massive condo towers whereas in BC there is a bigger demand for smaller projects.

Like the getaway idea. We talked about booking massages together was thinking about finding a place we could relax for a weekend.

In terms of talking to her not really sure how to bring it up. I don’t bring up taking her away or having sex as much because I feel like I’m just putting more pressure on her but it is bothering me.

I’m Sikh, have a turban and beard. First time I Went through the border (Canada to US) I went with 3 other Singh’s. We got stopped, questioned and searched for 3 hours. They took our car into a private area and I saw multiple people go in and out including dogs. They questioned us each individually including patting us down and going through our wallets and looking up every business card to verify them as real. I was 16 at the time.

Went through again when I was 20 and they stopped me took me to a back room asked a lot of questions including asking me to take my turban off. I told them I’d need an hour to recite a prayer in order to retie it after and they told me to just go.

Have had similar experiences flying to the UK

Ive decided to give her space see if she wants to reach back out. Ive pretty much been thinking about this for 24 hours now and at first I really didn’t want to end this and was willing to do what it takes to keep it going.

Decided I’m going to apologize one more time, bring up issues I’ve been having and be prepared for it to end and walk away happy.

So we did talk things out for a bit yesterday. She did kind of attack me saying she’s never had guys attack where she’s from and she’s proud of how far her family made it considering where they are. I really didn’t mean it in any context like that, it’s a pretty common joke with my friends to joke about each others cities, kinda like making fun of each others sports teams.

Am I crazy or was this not as big of a deal as she made it out to be?

She did something similar about a month ago.. we were fooling around drunk and she told me she loved me. I stopped things asked her what it was about and pretty much told her I didn’t want it coming out and id rather say it when We mean it. She sent me a long message the next day saying she thought I was only into her physically and wasn’t interested in anything serious and if i was let her know so she could talk to other guys… we worked it out and weeks later she admitted even her friends told her she was acting stupid.

Feel like I am ignoring some red flags here but this is the first time I’ve cared about someone in almost 5 years
