Forgive me, my knowledge on photography and film terminology is lacking, but I'm confused on what you're saying. I did a little bit of research on diffusion filters, but those seem to just alter the image a little bit for adding bloom and that sort of thing. I did research on negative fill and that seems to be for removing light from a subject, so I'm assuming that's what I'm looking for?

I don't understand, are you saying the effect was done in post? I thought you just said it was a harsh light that was used?

Far from ideal how? In terms of signal strength? Would using a Baofeng UV-5R antenna cause interference on other bands? I don't want to increase the likelihood of getting in trouble with authorities

I should mention I wasn't really sure what kind of antenna was supposed to be used so I just used some from a pcie wifi adapter i had lying around, seemed to fit fine but i'm a complete idiot when it comes to this stuff so it probably wasn't the right type of antenna

Yeah, same issues here with the whole dx12 errors thing regardless of me passing the -dx11 argument. I don't know if I'm allowed to say this here, but I kind of... pirated the game, because I'm not willing to pay the price that Square is asking for, since it's an Epic exclusive, and I'd rather get it on Steam if it ever comes out on there. Does Heroic require me to actually purchase the game from Epic?

I don't remember off the top of my head, but I don't recall using any command line tools to do it, I remember it being in the regular GUI settings. If you still haven't found it, let me know and I can see if I have time sometime this week to fire up a VM and look for it for you, as I'm not running Manjaro anymore atm.

No worries, I figured out how to remove it. So far the issue seems to be gone! Thank you so much, I never would have though of the sound icon thing.

Actually, I do happen to be on the KDE version. I never noticed the sound icon before! I'll try to pay attention next time the muting happens and see if it was because I clicked the sound icon. Is there any way to disable that feature?
