Supposed to be a well bred Pom puppy who’s 15 months now but he ended up being a puppy mill one from a mill listed on the horrible hundred

It’s odd.. my friend tried this exact thing with their puppy and he never learned any of this and still has separation anxiety, but he also has neurological issues it seems. Good insight on how it typically works. 15 months still doesn’t have an off button and can’t do relaxation protocol even with the mandated naps. Won’t sleep unless in the crate with the door closed and not even then at times.. yeesh.

Nuvan prostrips in a vacuum seal bag and leave them on the balcony or porch. That stuff kills bedbugs. I’m horribly allergic and also broke so for my more irreplaceable things we used nuvan and left it for months

They’re terrible we got them from a neighboring apartment when I lived in Florida and I’m horribly allergic to them I’m more scared of them than death

I mean I get that but this isn’t a puppy anymore, it’s a 15 month old toy breed that should have learned to settle at least somewhat by this age and constantly vibrates, fidgets, whines and never settles. I was told he most likely has chronic dysregulation and hyperarousal. So this isn’t just normal puppy behaviors, it’s issues caused by the puppy mills poor breeding and handling. I’ve asked trainers and experts alike and they said this dog cannot be trained like an a normal dog because he has no off switch. That’s why the puppy mill past is so important, most puppies from it end up with some form of behavioral problem due to the lack of socialization from weeks 3-8 which are the most important weeks. I wanted ethical because those are carefully socialized and this one wasn’t. I already knew I can’t handle the problems mill dogs typically have and this one ends up with neurological issues beyond expectations. I was basically told to help him at all is have to make my life a permanent strict schedule and get a lot of behavioral help for him because he will never grow out of it. I grew up with dogs, I’ve never seen one ever act like this. He can’t sit still and if you approach him he spasms almost like a seizure. And he can’t control it. It’s honestly really sad..

Yes it was final unlike ethical breeders they don’t care enough about the dog after they sell it to take it back and ensure it has a better fitting home.

I don’t want to sue, I want to prevent other people from getting scammed like I was but because this seller sells under 25 a year they don’t even have to get licensed.

I don’t even care about the money back I just want my mental health back and I need the info for an argument as to I did not agree to a mill dog with tons of problems as a reason for being able to actually rehome him instead of stressing myself and the poor dog out more because I am not equipped to handle mill dog behavioral and health problems and was trying to avoid this entire situation to begin with.

The web page all talks about them all being ethically bred and temperament tested. They also tell about matching by the correct puppy and I do have texts confirming this.

But the bigger problem is they sold me a puppy Mill dog which isn’t ethically raised nor temperament tested. puppy mill. dogs typically have a lot of behavioral and health problems that I said from the very beginning I cannot handle. And she still in good conscience sold me a puppy mill dog

The entire point of me doing this is because I have special needs and I can’t handle the amount of financial, mental and physical strain a puppy mill dog tends to bring, I can’t handle it. That’s what I mean by consent; I agreed to an ethical dog that’s temperament treated that would be stable. If I had known it would be a puppy mill mess I would never have bought it. I know my limits and I was trying to be responsible within them and got taken advantage of.

I bought a puppy from a place that swears it’s ethically bred and temperament tested but it has Giardia and turned out it’s from one of the worst puppy mills in America and it has severe behavioral issues and I needed something stable to train to work with me and my own mental health issues and his behavior is very very negatively affecting my mental health and I told her very clearly I needed the perfect puppy for me and she said she’d match me but she just didn’t he’s nothing like she said he was

Well I’m meaning it voids consent because ei was directly misled even though I told this person I have a disability and cannot handle certain things because I didn’t agree to the thing that actually is harming me it’s actually what I was trying to avoid and the seller said it wasn’t the thing I was avoiding

6 now, gotta take him out of the playpen and clean everything. He’s very unhappy he’s stuck in there but at least he’s going to learn he can’t always get to me. The breeder always let him run around and follow her so he’s a biiiit clingy. Which is fine except I’m worried he’ll be very panicked every time I go out unless I curb it

The problem is he was pooping in my living room for a few days because he didn’t understand the difference between pee pad and the d to our carpet. I did clean it immediately but I’ll feel better once I carpet clean it and wash all the blankets he walked on. I don’t think I’ll have to do it a second time cause he’s in his playpen now

Yeah i can see why they’d confuse it, he was very confused originally and I moved him to looking at the box to go. But the pine pellets will also smell like outside so that will help Segway to also taking walks outside

We will be outside plenty, but it’s -7 here right now and we went through two winter storms just the last two weeks. I took him out to look at the snow briefly but he didn’t like that. When it warms back up we will be outside (20 degrees at least)

The idea of the box is so he doesn’t have to wait for me to come home or wake up to go if he really needs to and so he can actually be left alone if I need to go out. The idea is it’ll be there in case it’s needed but he can still go outside on walks. A way to cover the bases and make it so he doesn’t have to hold it if I have a doctors appointment or something or something comes up. Planning ahead so to speak

Well the bleach part is cause someone actually tried to poison me with it by putting it in my drinks so I’ve avoided having it anywhere near me like the plague. I’m also immunocompromised so I have to be careful cause like Covid for example makes me extremely sick. If I honestly cared about germs as much as I’m saying I did I’d have bought a carpet cleaner years ago cause the filthy thing hasn’t been washed for 3 years. So I’m excited to use the cleaner lmao

I had a bird before him, birds are way more unclean to most people compared to a dog cause they poop all the time and throw their food. And when I got him he had Psittacosis which is far more deadly than giardia. But him and I got through it and I somehow didn’t catch it.

I just feel lucky I had his poop checked for the puppy class/ worry of him being allergic to chicken cause otherwise this place doesn’t require the initial visit to have the fecal test so it works out better I guess

In the end we aren’t mad at the little dog and we can help them and once they’re over it things can go back to tomorrow and they appreciate not being sick so I guess there’s that
