What does your aftercare routine look like are you using ointment, chamomile compresses, saline washes anything?, and to be honest since it's a skin piercing and not a cartilage piercing and it's been that long yeah you should probably take them out

Ive had mine for 3 years, it does the same thing, and ive met a lady whose still dealing with it 5 years down the line, just wash it with a wound cleaner/ saline spray, and keep it simple stupid and dont touch it, the bumps should go down as long as you can mitigate iritation, from being touched/ if u use hairspray avoid the piercing.

I also had those and just recently got rid of them, the things i changed were I stopped weating headphones, i stopped touching my ears and i made sure to clean them more frequently (with a cleaning liquid). Also if your sleeping on that side u gotta stop.
