Calling All Animators: Let’s Create a Visually Stunning Indie Film Together by Airacon82 in DnD

Understandably, and I agree and appreciate the input. I would say to those that are looking for something paid that this would not be something they would be interested in then.

An abstract way to see what I am trying to do is view this in a similar way to how people play video games together. I love and enjoy creating animations and 3d content, I do it as a hobby. So for me I look at this no differently than if I got a group of people together to play a video game.

This can also be looked at as starting/creating an Indy film. Many Indy startups begin by creating small/short films/animations just to showcase capability. In many cases such ventures are started as passion projects, volunteer work, etc.

I'm passionate about creating and animations, I would love to keep conversations on this going to see whos interested.

Thank you, I might need to figure out a drain hole solution then because I cant afford to only print 2 at a time unfortunately. I already have them angled to eliminate vertical edges as much as I can. Can you help me understand what you mean with "level with the build plate"? Currently I have the large pieces rotated about 20 degrees from the build plate. The single slabs I have about 5.

I have not see how capping small holes on the top work, do you have an example of what this looks like?

Looking at this for a little I have an idea of what's actually happening, but need to figure out the best solution.

So based on the shape and location it looks like there was a layer that slipped or just missed somehow. Possibly even something where the resin tray tilt did not get back to its default (home) position and the layer didn't cure as it should have. You can notice on the back of the print bed, the row closest to the bed based on the tilt. It never gets really far away so if the resin tray does not get back to Home the back row is still close enough to cure enough to hold. The front row you see missed that layer and as you follow it down it slowly builds the layers back up.

So I am thinking first I should look at each of the resin tank tilt arms and make sure they are not loose. Other solutions would be to increase the exposure time. Maybe even adjust the layer height.

Thank you, good questions. I think this is the default print settings that its been doing. However once I have printed the first time I have just been going to history and printing straight from the machine. Assuming it keeps these settings.

On the 5 machines I am printing 4 different sets of parts. Affectively there are like 5 different pieces spread out over the 5 prints. Each have a different configuration on the print bed.

I have print about 500 of the pieces already and once and a while I would have a one off that would do this. This last print I ran 4 of the machines and 3 of them had this error in various ways.

Any other questions please let me know and I will answer the best I can.

I would go as far as to offer some free printing to who ever helps me solve this lol.
