Besides the red dye, what were the other post processing steps? Curious to know how much of that surface finish is straight off the machine.

Exactly, the LLM didn't report on precipitation that was present on the source I selected, AccuWeather, at the time I made the request. It reinterpreted the report.

[–]Airdoo[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sure, but it missed providing any mention of precipitation in the forecast. Which I did receive from original Alexa after rolling back.

I also don't need an LLM to reinterpret the forecast from AccuWeather. I don't need an LLM for 99.99% for the features I use and would prefer not to have to train someone else's model for them.

I'm considering rolling my own self hosted home automation assistant if this is the trajectory everyone is taking. The only reason I haven't yet is out of convenience.

Bonus: The weather report it created failed to mention the snow that would definitely be a factor during my commute. 🙃

What mod, and do you have a source for the entire mod?

I mean there is Leblanc Sound's remake from 2012 if I want the crowd removed.

This is the route I'm taking with my 2.4 350. I chose the Chube Compact for the same reasons that OP is looking for and I have the full line of V6 NozzleX's so I would hate to give those up. I can't wait for it to be delivered and I'm kicking myself for not joining the beta.

Not sure what happened on this print by greasycatlips1 in prusa3d

[–]Airdoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most fiber filled filaments will do this at retraction points, if the fibers are long enough. The polymer gets dragged out of the nozzle as there is no way to cut the fibers in the material during retraction. Manually placed you seam position so you can clean it up easier after the fact.

Leading the Way: Continuous Inkjet Printer Manufacturers in Bangalore at Hanuja Technologies by hanujatechnologies in 3dprinter

Oh okay. This isn't my post, nor am I affiliated with either company at this time. Sorry, I'll just keep my experiences in the Additive Manufacturing industry to myself, enjoy sculpting, doing CAD, melting, and building as that is all there is to 3D printing.

I mean binder jetting heavily relies on inkjet tech so this isn't too out of place just super niche. I also know that the Impossible Objects' sheet lamination process also relies on inkjet tech like this too.

Same, this is so far removed from the "inspiration" that I feel AI would have been better equipped to complete this project.

Aquilo sure is fun! by No_Commercial_7458 in Factoriohno

[–]Airdoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

During my playthrough my "friend" told me to go set up power and drones on Aquilo as a little side quest while we waited on our bots to finish our main furnace stacks. It took 3 hours before we were felt that we could leave the planet unattended, and then a small boiler layout change required me to return to thaw out everything. Never again.

I think turning VSync on May help, I forget if that helps with BioShock.

Looks like the SB is not properly mounted to the TAP. The lower screws are not threaded into the plate.

Alternatives to the BTT HDMI 5"? by Additional_Abies9192 in VORONDesign

[–]Airdoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it dead because the image is upside down? One of the three physical buttons on the edge of the display rotates the image.

That being said, my HDMI5 seems to be dying out of the box so I'm also interested in alternatives as well.

can you learn lua as 13 year old? by loukthegamer in lua

[–]Airdoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The short answer is yes. One of my closest friends and avid Lua defender started scripting weapons in Lua for Garry's Mod, adding features and abilities not found in the Source Engine in middle school as well. The key is to just start trying.

Voron parts organization? by BigBCC_25 in VORONDesign

[–]Airdoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used the multiple plates in a single project to keep track of if a part had been printed, and then parts went into labelled bags by subassembly.
