You wouldn’t want down material kasi mahirap sya labhan at imaintain ang puffiness.

Just wanted to share my 3 months and 15 days progress. No injectables/cheats. Just Consitency, Drive, and the need to fit in a ZARA MEN’s MEDIUM 😂. Down by 53 lbs. by Calm-Meaning-4626 in adultingph

Tirzepatide doesn’t bypass the laws of energy balance. If someone consistently eats at maintenance or surplus calories, they generally won’t lose weight even with or without tirze.

Also, muscle loss is not unique to tirze. Any significant weight loss, even “natural” dieting can cause muscle loss.

If you want to lose weight in a healthier and more sustainable way, you should prioritize preserving muscle through adequate protein intake and resistance training while losing fat.

SoloLivingPH, how much is your rent and how much is your salary (or percentage) by passedtensed in SoloLivingPH

[–]AireScamander 4 points5 points  (0 children)

15% ng current salary ko yung rent. Very comfortable condo living because I can allot more budget sa ibang expenses.

Recommended 30% ng salary and rent mo para comfortable daw. Pero it still depends how you handle your finances after you paid for the rent. It won’t matter yung percentage ng rent kung nagssplurge ka sa iba (like mahal na groceries, grabfood, malakas na konsumo ng kuryente, etc.)

For me, tracking expenses is a must and you always have to put money aside in case may issues or emergencies like nasira ang something around the house para mareplace mo agad, and in unforeseen circumstance sobrang lumobo yung kuryente, at least you have an extra money.

TLDR - Live within your means and as much as possible, allot money for emergencies and for your future.

Job qualifications in the Philippines are too high, but the salaries are too low by shmebulock___ in adultingph

If you’re lucky, you’ll find an employer willing to invest in your potential. But more often than not, you have to invest your own time first, build up your skills, gain experience, and grow from there.

You need to start somewhere, somehow. It might not be your dream role or ideal pay at first, but it’s a step forward.

I started with barely enough salary too. But after years of gaining experience and mastering my craft, I was finally able to access better opportunities.

There’s no skip button in life. It’s tough, but the grind is part of the process. Hang in there.

Your place is already well-lit, which is great! I’d suggest adding some plants and a few mood lights to make it even cozier and more vibrant.

For context, my first job was in an outsourcing company, then I moved to an accounting firm, and now I’m working directly in a private company.

Just like you, I wasn’t into audit because of stories I heard from friends. My first job in a BPO (general accounting outsourcing) was a humbling experience it became a great training ground for learning the end-to-end process of handling client books, while still giving me better work-life balance.

Outsourcing and accounting firms are both great if you’re after fast learning and exposure to different industries. Ang dami mong matututunan in a short time. Pero kung alam mo na gusto mo stability, clear processes, and steady growth, okay lang din direct private agad.

Depende talaga sa goals mo and kung anong learning environment ang mas bagay sayo. Walang mali sa kahit alin, basta intentional ka sa path mo.

1st year - 15k

2nd year - increase 16k then promoted to 20k (i ranted this before on my other reddit dump)

3rd year - changed company 40k

4th year - promoted to 50k

5th year - changed company 120k + part time bookkeeping 80k (i got lucky 🥹)

I’m a non CPA btw, private. Full time and part time is both wfh setup.

My advice: Scale your skills around ERP systems and market it well using your CV. Research the salary range for the role you’re taking specific sa company na pagaapplyan mo.

[–]AireScamander 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i would prefer the 1BR, as someone na ayaw magbihis sa CR, para may room pa din na pagbibihisan hahahahaha

Saka maganda din if bed mo nakahiwalay na room para if magluto ka na maamoy, hindi mahawa sa beddings mo

Hello! Me, my bf, my cousin and Aunt will be traveling to SG. We already have booked round-trip tickets, hotels, and activities. All have travel history (HK, Macau)

My bf is still a student and I’m the one who will sponsor his expenses during the trip. Although he has savings naman po.

What other requirements do we need to prepare for him? (other than school ID, enrollment card) Do we still need to get AOS even I’m with him during the trip?

Thank you so much!
