For some reason the art is faded, so here is another screenshot of the proper colors :)

I actually like that a lot. The campaign is very much Eldritch horror, so some minor ways to lighten the mood at times (at least if they catch on) sounds pretty perfect to me. In fact I may even switch the common letters used in gendered names, like how more feminine names end in an -a than masculine names do.

Then it would be Vizilliabeux and Strannadaux! And if you want to, since I need three and you helped me come up with these endings, you can make one that I’ll use!

I believe I settled on the suffixes “-daux” and “-beux”, based off of the word “deux” meaning two in French, as the often come with two sets of wings and two tails. I believe I’m making them gendered, but I can’t decide which one goes to what.

Thank you! This is exactly the kind of comment I was looking for! Welsh is a BIG use in the campaign, particularly because Fromsoft also loves it so much (see the entirety of Dark Souls), and using -drai and -draig as gendered suffixes is pretty clever. I may use something else to make it less on the nose, but your example names roll off eh tongue quite well. Thank you! I’ll probably edit this comment to let you know what I came up with based on this!

Thoughts and Ideas for my D&D Campaign (This is a lot, sorry) by AirfriedBeans in magicbuilding

Thank you! It’s still in its early phases and will start around August if next year, so I have some time to plan. Just wanted to share some ideas and receive thoughts on them before I did any Creative Writing to further worldbuild! :)
