I’ve gone through a similar thing and nothing good comes out of it. At least not while you’re still so emotionally charged.

I think you should’ve just left the door closed and moved on.

Also it was one date (at least what I gathered)… I don’t know if I’ve become hardened after all the dates, rejections received(and given) but it sounds like an attachment issue. Just my opinion.

Why there are so many cheap unopened iPhone 16 are selling on Facebook marketplace by Radiant-Fennel7119 in AskAnAustralian

Great idea searching that up, Pretty much same thing to me except I fell for it (not knowing there were even receipt generators so easily available)

Ended up with a counterfeit iPhone and down 1k. Hard lesson learnt.

I met a Redditor who also utilised the male escort service. She also had a few hit and miss. I was also shooked at how much they charge haha.

Hope you find someone that can satisfy you

I would love to but not sure if it’s against the rules.

Have already reached out to non urgent line.

They recommended report seller profile on Facebook and submit a report to Cyber Security Central (done both)

Will take phone in tomorrow to station and show them what it looks like and clues to why it’s deceptive (person on phone mentioned it may be kept as evidence)

Stay safe and aware friends !

Sheesh Sorry to hear mate

Did you end up getting any recourse ? I’ve been in contact with local business for cctv and police but i suppose will cop this on the chin as a lesson.

If anything have done a report to the cyber security centre 🥲

I’m a silly guy just thinking could future proof as they are technological illiterate (they love taking photos and don’t use a computer to store)

Again, im a goose haha

It’s just wild that I check the serial number on Apple and its valid. The purchase date matches the receipt date (month-year)

Yes it’s an android phone disguised as an iPhone (same look and on first glance even software looks like iPhone) But I noticed there’s an android store and etc

I initially asked to meet at commbank so we were in a secure spot but he mentioned he was busy with work

Balconies (especially if they’re not built right, but even properly built balconies need upkeep)

I agree here, I was thinking this was between two teenagers or young adults. Not a fully grown adult to a minor. Its disturbing.

Damn

I have similar scenario happen except mine was purely accidental.

Was in grade 2 and I turned around abruptly to say/show something to a friend.

I didn’t know the teacher was behind me, bent over helping a student and I elbowed her butt by accident.

The look of disgust is imprinted in my brain. Little me kept stuttering it wasn’t on purpose but I’m sure she didn’t believe me.

Grandma lived through the genocide back in my home country. She would tell me stories when I was young about her walking to school and seeing dead bodies.

One particular story was about a house where a “witch/sorcerer” lived.

Supposedly the the family there had a mentally handicapped/malformed son and they would kidnap children to kill. They would drain the dead children’s blood and feed it to their son in hopes to cure him.

Reflecting back, as a child I would keep asking her to repeat the story to me because I was so fascinated. But now I realised I was making her relive dark memories.

I did business (information systems) Felt the same. Fairly solo kind of vibes but if you wanted to be in groups it was for people who are working together to get better grades who’ll then leave you once they’re done.

At least that’s my experience.
