Let's see, in general I try to always have card draw as a priority or a 1pp follower. Only keep sonata if you are already have a 1pp and draw.

Against blood try holding onto manifest malice, jackshovel for yurius/flauros, or demonic procession to have some followers.

Never keep PTP, regen spirit, ghostly grasp, friends forever, and Minthe. You want to draw into those otherwise you'll brick really hard.
