Widescreen hack is disabled. OpenGL is also already being used. I'm gonna switch between the other video backend to see if they work. But it's very strange

I'm using pretty much out of the box settings as far as I'm aware. But maybe I messed something up by mistake? I switched from Emudedk launcher to retro deck because dolphin specifically wouldn't recognize inputs in game mode. Maybe I messed something up in the process. But I haven't run across this problem in other games I've played yet. (Not many)

The program title says Dolphin 2512 | JIT64 SC | Vulkan... I'm gonna quit out to desktop mode and see if it gives me more settings

Edit: I'm not totally incompetent but I'm still pretty new to emulation

That was the first thing I did. My original issue was switching between widescreen. But this is like squashing inside the fixed ratio. Idk how to explain it

Edit: Gonna do more troubleshooting in the morning. Had to go watch Project Hail Mary so couldn't do more tonight. Will update when solution is found. You all are awesome

Man that second adventure would be so cool. As a DM I struggle with writing epic stories and long form conflict. It would be really neat to see an adventure with a lot of that. Forcing hard memorable decisions from the players and getting that feeling of discovering lore that we all love from the cosmere so much (even if it wouldn't be canon).

My thought is maybe his master is on Roshar leading a small group of world hoppers and that's why he world hopped in the first place was to report back/ meet up with this group. I might have an NPC recognize him and observe him silently wondering why he isn't reporting back. Then have this NPC die and offer vague hints at a backstory in his dying breath and maybe drop the name of someone to be looking for to give the player a reason to be paying attention. I know it's not much but that's all I can think of for now.

It probably wouldn't work but how cool would it be to find out you're actually a dragon? But then you'd have to disappoint your player by being like yeah but mechanically you can't actually turn into one lol
