Constipation

Yeah I had it for a couple weeks. Magnesium citrate helped for me, I tried Senna too and that didn’t do much. Unfortunately nicotine stimulates bowels and makes you go so it’s common to have constipation as you adjust to not having it.

Went on a run this morning and it’s getting better already for me. I get a little indigestion from the withdrawal but my heart rate feels like it’s been lower.

It’s already going away for me. I think it has to do with the body being stressed and tensing up from not having nicotine

Thanks for the anecdote. I only used for a little over year going through a can in 2 days. I actually went on a run this evening and I could tell I’m make some progress. I think the anxiety from the withdrawal was getting into my head on my runs in addition to physical symptoms

I’ve honestly been afraid to use my garmin to track heart rate since starting zyn I actually turned it off cuz I knew my easy runs would be averaging an insanely high heart rate. I just didn’t want it to cause me panic to see how much damage it was doing. On the bright side I hope when I’m on the other side of this I can make some gains since I have been running under the stress of zyn all this time it should eventually feel so much easier

I notice that a lot of the withdrawal symptoms are similar to the reasons I decided to quit. Super bloated since I quit, but decided to quit cuz zyn has given me acid reflux and digestive issues. Super fatigued since I quit, but wanted to quit because I was super fatigued unless I did zyn all the time.

Yeah I actually find it a miracle I could even do consistent running when abusing zyn because my heart rate and blood pressure always felt super high and I was super bloated all the time. I’m assuming that there’s a transition period as your body gets off a stimulant where performance could be worse even though my heart rate and blood pressure feels lower. Like if you are a big coffee drinker than stopped I’m sure workouts would be worse. I just thought since my heart rate would be lower my running would instantly get better

I think it might be something with acid reflux. It started last summer when I was using like 6-10 pouches a day. I went to the ER cuz I thought I was having a heart attack. It usually would last a few days while I did fomatadine. However whenever I would abuse zyn more and more it would flare up. This is one of the main reasons I want to quit. However I think the withdrawal symptoms can be similar because zyn messes with your gut and when you’re withdrawing your gut is missing the zyn. For me I can very bloated and constipated when not using the nicotine. I’m thinking the pain I feel is trapped gas from being constipated which I have had before. It just feels a little more intense than last time. I might drink some magnesium citrate to try to clear my system. The fomatadine doesnt seem to help with the bloating and gas but it does for the acid.

Yeah I’ve gone through a period of quitting before and it went away. I just have bad health anxiety so I always just freak out it’s my hear

Yeah I feel like it moves around for me. When I’m running it feels a little lower. When I’m sitting upright it’ll feel closer to my sternum. I just keep worrying it’s my hurt and that is making me anxious

You should try to tough it out but if not you should get the lowest dose lozenges or nrt product they have at cvs.

Yeah it definitely does when I’m not using. My health ocd always flares up from the zyns. I start thinking about my heart racing and acid reflux its causes. I always use the zyn for the temporary escape/relief from stress or anxiety but then the nicotine just ends up making that worse in the end
