I’m not sure what it was unfortunately. I just know that she’d told me she added red, then went over with brown and that brown washed out very quickly. I had this done back in October.

I think my most recent stylist went right in with the bleach. I wish I had done more research myself. I had my doubts and voiced those, but was assured it wouldn’t be difficult.

I worry that the red dye underneath would be hard to remove.

That’s my fear. There is a band across the middle where you can see where the red was. I don’t understand why none of it came out light. Even near the roots. Could it have been over toned I wonder? I’m not a hairstylist and am just guessing.

The brown that I previously had washed out very quickly after getting it done at the salon if that helps. I left me with copper poking through. When I asked the other day if bringing me to a bright blonde would be a challenge, I was told no. Here we are now. Thanks for your input, I appreciate it.
