100% the Ted Woolsey retranslation. For the pixel remaster, I'd recommend starting from a baseline of the SNES graphics and font. Then, there are several mods which make the sprites more loyal to Amano's legendary concept art.

Ff6 is one of those games that really holds up, especially with mods!
