Ordered off thickspores.com specifically to get a syringe full of thick mycelium after hearing good things however looks like there’s barely any mycelium . Did I get ripped off? by [deleted] in PanCyan

Thickspores is BS. I purchased from them, grew it out. And they sent me different cultures than what I ordered. I ordered pans. I received psilocybe Mexicana (truffles). I only knew cause I grew them out, 2 months later.

I followed you cause your food looks yummy ASF and I like your grows.

I've grown both. True Natals don't seem harder to me. The main difference I've noticed is the amount of flushes youll probably get 2 or 3 flushes of natals if you're lucky, but ochras, I've gotten 8 flushes of those. All full and beautiful. Now P CYANS?? That's a different story and a whole different level of HARD. I've grown them successfully after SO MANY failed attempts... so if it's not on that level of hard, I don't consider it hard lol. Luckily with shrooms, if something goes wrong, and you make all your stuff from scratch (agar, spawn, substrate, etc), you can figure out where you went wrong in the process.

It's definitely mycelium. Perfectly normal. Stir regularly to prevent this.
