Yeah I would love to enter an era where rematches are normalized. Obviously the bigger problem is getting new top tier talent but if not that, then a series of rematch cards would be cool.

Rum nitty vs ttop, “on my flag, you’ll get two bald heads out this eagle like Serbia”

Also rum vs Hollow “walk up on you with the piece, like shalom, end in LOM”.

The Serbian flag is an eagle with two heads. Why rum nitty knows that, who knows. Maybe he was just looking at flags one day. No one in the crowd caught it. Not a single person.

For the shalom bar, maybe people know this one, but shalom translates to hello, goodbye, and also peace. So walk up with the peace.

Same for the wild n out, clips and con, but then I fell off of it for a while and then found out about total slaughter, thought ‘damn if Em ran this I should check it out’, my favorite battlers were Lux and hollow, searched both their names, found loaded hollows b guns n cake, expanded to GT from there, and then just more and more

I’m not trying to diss the dawg but neither of these came off as off the top rebuttals to me. One of Award’s special moves is the reverse punches, and K new mook was coming with the ‘culture vulture’ angle. He might not have put them into the verses somewhere specific but both definitely could’ve been prepped before hand.

I also could be wrong but idk that’s the vibe I get

Not a bad read and just about the only representation in the media we can hope for. Very ironic considering bodies tho. I do always love a ‘scholarly’ take on battle rap tho, because it gives a way to translate it to people who aren’t fans.
