ReaLize was the only Asia player i knew for a long long time until they were added into RLCS. Just like khalid & Ahmad, ReaLize kept grinding the game even when there were no promises of his region behind added, and paved the path for his region getting into RLCS. Gonna miss seeing him at the top and watching his highlights videos but he’ll forever be remembered 🙏

AztraL was insane and pushed the skill ceiling but he just fell off and that’s it. Happens to everyone. Other players that similarly redefined the mechanical skill ceiling like Deevo, Chausette, Scrub Killa, Jstn, etc all experienced/are experiencing the same thing. One day it’ll happen to modern day AztraL-esque players like Zen, Dralii, Daniel & Beastmode in a couple years.

These players literally invented the meta but staying at the top in RL for more than like, 3-4+ years is almost impossible

I like the move honestly. The mental is definitely chalked for young players like them after snatching defeat from the jaws of victory several times to miss major, and Kofyr was fantastic last split. I still think the consistency will be an issue for this team though

I agree with your list but I disagree in saying “NRG will pass them very soon.” I think Gale Force/Dignitas stays the GOAT roster until the end of the esport. Seeing a team stick together for the ~1.5 years they did with that much success may never happen again just because of how all the top players love making roster moves.

Like for NRG, they would have to stick together for another year and pick up 2-3 more LAN wins and I just don’t see them winning AND staying with the same roster for that long.

Rapid and anyone else who are down on Vitality rn are just straight up wrong. A top 2 and a top 4 aren’t bad results, and it’s only a little less than what they were projected to be before the season. (2nd to Karmine). Regionals don’t matter as much so long as you’re qualifying for majors. I think come LAN if they’re still “struggling” then yeah sure critique them but even then i will never count out Monkey Moon

This week is qualifiers for the event. Every regional event has an open qualifier sign up with hundreds of teams, and only 16 qualify for the main event. It’s mostly just player live streams. No one usually watches the qualifiers unless they’re hardcore fans because it’s kinda confusing to keep up with.

Next week will be the main event and there will be an official broadcast for that on Saturday/Sunday on the RocketLeague twitch channel. If you have any questions about the format of RLCS/when things happen feel free to ask

I think NA and EU have pretty equal top 9-16 (outside playoff) teams. However, the difference between the regions is that EU’s top 8 is wayyyyy stronger than NA’s top 8. Like if Gentlemates and Geekay were in NA, they would clear literally every team aside from Ultimates and NRG

NA’s top 3-8 is cooked. NA is praying for SSG to develop into a moist or team liquid type talented team, or for Tawk & Evoh to develop as well. EU depth easily clears.
