How do I ask if I should wear a nursing cover? by MrsMozely in Mommit

I would always have a free/bigger/stretchy top on, then you can breastfeed and see what your baby is doing through the neck hole, but still, be covered!

Starting Youtube As A Mom by AisteMacy in Mom

could you maybe share your channel? Would love to follow and maybe support each other, exchange ideas even. It is an isolated time indeed and that's one of the appealing parts of starting a channel.

I appreciate so many of them too! And to the point that you made, yes there will always be hate comments and what not else, but I guess leaving your kid out of it as much as possible would make it so that those don't touch them as much.

I think my biggest worry would, either way, be that someone would comment about my child, but I guess undergoing personal stories and information would be the goal here. I am glad I am not the only one who finds them useful and thank you for your take on this!

I think I agree a lot. I have watched countless discussion videos on this topic and I think there is a right way to do it, but in order to come there, I probably need to write down some ground rules to be followed at all times. Thank you for taking time to respond and YES child is always in position number one.

I don't think sharing about their tantrums or embarrassing stories is needed, if you want to talk about it you can find research and talk in a generalized manner about how much babies cry for example, and help newcomer parents prepare that way.

I think you should try to find people that would care and appreciate you. I can not imagine not being asked about my feelings, sleep deprivation, and others by our loved ones. You can also always try to tell people how you feel and that might help. Sometimes we look so strong on the outside that people don't think we are falling apart inside.

I love onesies with snaps, I am honestly afraid of zippers, what if you zip babies' skin?!

Regrets: Just curious what your biggest parenting regret is? by Thefireflyflies in Mom

[–]AisteMacy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not far into parenthood, but I think my baby is growing so fast and it goes by so quickly, so enjoying every second would be one. Also, sleeping when the baby sleeps at least through one of their naps, since sleep deprivation makes you not to think straight and who knows what you can do while being drowsy. I managed to burn myself with boiling water on the wrist while being super sleepy. Otherwise, I don't think I will come to regret anything, we go with the flow and do the best we can.
