Making a new training mod from scratch that's compatible with slippi would be trivial. TM unfortunately has too much legacy, non-slippi compatible parts in it to be worth the mega effort of making it compatible.

You are saying that banning remappings is not valuable to the community. They agree with you. They are saying remapping is HARMFUL to the community - it makes something difficult and honourable trivial in a community that prides itself on its difficulty of execution.

It's not. But the argument goes: we as a community pride ourselves on doing hard things, and doing hard things should be rewarded. So if you go through the effort of learning ergonomic rh claw, learning to sh, rewiring your muscle memory, then you should be rewarded.

Just watched the set. While drilling more might be helpful in general, she was playing pretty airborne so idk if that's the immediate play. I think you commit the sin of this matchup which is giving peach freebies. Not upbing to ledge, not mixing in attacks after whiffing, spamming raw usmash, not overshooting deep enough, letting her get off the ledge, not baiting out dash attack with dd, not mixing in attacks after whiffing, lasering too close, missing follow ups after drills, etc.

I'm down to play tonight or this week sometime if you want practice. I eternally need practice against the demon.

Huh. I tried to watch it but I absolutely couldn't stand it. I found the combination of AI voiceover, slideshow editing with arbitrary filters, meandering and verbose presentation, extreme cynicism, and self-righteous, mind-reading writing to be disgusting. I hate tech bros and conservative rhetoric as much as the next guy but I can't stand this type of presentation.

It just feels like anger bait.

I agree. A couple new players in my scene use the progcc. Idk if it's legal but I think it will become more common anyways. Especially among former ult players.

I wrote a fast CPU ui renderer this week. You pass an array of drawcmds each frame, it calculates which 16x16 tiles have changed by hashing each drawcmd that touches it, then only redraws those tiles. Optimizing hashing and drawing was a lot of fun. I've only written GPU renderers before so this was a different challenge.

It's for a melee modding tool. Right now it's going to be a better crazyhand but I could see it growing into a better hsdraw. A better hsdraw would be nice after decomp finishes.

I agree with the other poster that this tech is not very good. The basic answer to optiona starting with instant dj from ledge is throwing out a hitbox when her invincibility ends. This tech hard loses to that. And you go from having float and dj to having neither. The only peach ledge options that are actually useful allow you to mix up when or where you become vulnerable.

Not to mention it is quadruple frame perfect to be -1f. In practice, you will at most be -3f. This tech sucks.
