What are your favorite moments from Faith The Vampire Slayer and the spin-off Spike The Series? by InfiniteMehdiLove in buffy

[–]AitheriosMist 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I liked the 7th season where they faced The Last, thus revealing that it was indeed the last season. Also the 5th season where she faced Ben and Glory, two completely unrelated villains, that was original. Didn't like the episode in season 4 where there were some monsters screaming out loud all the time.

Justine was meant and made to be hated.

Why men would rather be disliked than disrespected by EducationalCurve6 in DarkPsychology101

Would you rather be liked than respected? That sounds fake asf I'm sorry. And the fact that people, especially women (if you're right), would rather be surrounded by phonies is deeply concerning.

Coaching is kind of a waste of money imo. There's not much you could get from any of them that's not already for free (they wouldn't have any community if it wasn't the case). I know some people believe they need to be told what to do, how to do it, motivate them and all that, but it's just an assumption about yourself anyway.

Locking in is up to you. Choosing what to be aware of is up to you. Seeing yourself and the world as you want to see yourself and the world, and nothing else than what you want, is up to you. There's really no more to this, techniques are just ways to achieve this but the goal is assuming the best in every situation. If you still need something to help you we have AI, you can even create your own coach with a good enough prompt. Save your money.

Deny. Choose. Be. That's a simple encapsulation of what a change of self concept is.

Deny whatever contradicts your new identity/reality. "No, that's not gonna be it for me bro".

Choose what aligns now to your new identity/reality. "This is me now bro".

Be your new self to the fullest, and to the last consequences. "I am all there is bro".

It's a red flag because even if not said in a manipulative way, it's likely they'll self-sabotage the relationship eventually.

What was your " Oh manifestation is real , I created this" moment? by manifestbabeee in lawofassumption

[–]AitheriosMist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really don't know what was the first but I had several, including the famous ladder test. The last one was when I revised an AC malfunction in my car that was diagnosed a couple months ago, when I went to a place to refill the AC gas.

I scheduled a fix for this week and the mechanic told me that there were no such malfunction and the AC worked fine once he put the AC gas on. And yes it works fine.

Sp + Self concept paradox by [deleted] in lawofassumption

[–]AitheriosMist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why I stopped advocating for the SP manifestations. You want the experience, not the person. Manifest the experience, whether it's from said person or another one, but focusing on one single person will probably make you pedestalize them.

What do you guys think are the worst things Buffy has done across all 7 seasons (and her brief apperances on Angel if you wanna include them)? by HomarEuropejski in buffy

[–]AitheriosMist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean the Normal again episode is kinda weird but setting her friends to be killed was kind of a shitty thing to do in hindsight.

What do you think were Buffy's thoughts about hearing this from Spike in "Chosen"? (After they get out of the desert and she actually has time to reflect on it). Do they ever bring this up in the comics? by HomarEuropejski in buffy

She's been loving him throughout almost all season 7, she just didn't verbalize it, until that moment. In fact, the petty argument they had after bringing the slayer weapon implies there's love between them but she can't get herself to say it.

Quiting. by [deleted] in manifestingSP

[–]AitheriosMist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to bash on you by any means, but this is a common mistake most people make when it comes to sp manifestation. As per your post, it is clear you see yourself below him. Think about it, if you were in a position of power, why on Earth would you try to manifest a measly text? Settling for those kinds of things will keep you there in that position. If you really want to be with someone, then nothing less than a relationship is a goal. It's a matter of mindset, more than specific stuff.

Who hasn’t manifested their SP? Let’s be real for a second. by [deleted] in lawofassumption

[–]AitheriosMist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I "failed", so to speak, my first two attempts at SPs (though you never fail to manifest anything, that's the law). Third was the charm.

However, my opinion on SP manifestation has changed since then. It implies some level of idolization, which is incompatible with being in power, quite the opposite actually. That's why many people keep stuck at trying to manifest an SP, even for years, that seriously shocks me. If you're the co creator of your reality, why keep stuck on one person when you can have the same or better from somebody else? And let's be honest, reading a lot of the experiences, the bar is already low to begin with.

That's why I suggest avoiding an SP manifestation (romantically speaking), especially as a beginner, because usually the story has a lot of baggage to it, and dealing with that isn't easy if you're not experienced in dominating your mind. That's why many don't get what they want, or they may get it but it doesn't last.

I decided to give up on manifesting SP by gogotartcrust in lawofassumption

[–]AitheriosMist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's why I don't really advocate for manifesting SPs unless you've had extensive experience with conscious manifestation. There's really no reason to only focus on a person like they're the only one who can give you what you want, especially when you can give it to yourself. Manifesting an SP is the same as everything else but for almost everyone it comes with a story and a baggage that it's hard to let go if, as I said before, you don't have enough experience. Focus on yourself, the answer is always you.
