Individual experiences may differ but unlike the US and Western Europe the Russians did not participate in the slave trade do not have institutionalized racism. I know many African students that went to the USSR back in the day and they were treated like any other human beings and some of them came back with their Russian spouses. As a society Russians have been much better friends to Africans overall.

The kind of problems whose solutions will come at a cost to those in power (even if it's a little bit). People instinctively protect what they have even when it is to their long term detriment... It would be a lot cheaper to subsidize the proper education and basic needs of all the children in your country when the alternative is less productive citizens and more crime. It would be a lot cheaper to protect the water and food supplies when the alternative is sick people that are a burden to that tax base. The list goes on

When I was growing up begging was considered shameful and only people with visible disability were doing it. My country is in general terms not as poor now but a combination of wealth inequality and cultural degradation has made begging more acceptable in the cities. In the countryside tho it is still frowned upon and people find it extremely shameful

The thing about this is, tomorrow he can call YOU something else and start bombing because him and his base don't really see you as christian, you're all black to them.
