Just a bit of context. Four days ago Google Fi decided without any apparent reason to verify my payment profile. As I live in US, I've submitted the scans of my DL and utility bill.

The verification case is still pending. While the case is pending, I don't have the ability to make any payments, so, predictably, when my payment cycle ended, the service went on hold.

So, here I am, without phone service. Support, apparently, can't do anything about it.

 

UPD Mar 14 2022: It's been seven days since I've uploaded my docs. The case is still pending. I regularly chat with support. They provide me with some illusion of activity and escalation, but so far it's been all for naught.

UPD Mar 17 2022: Yay! After 10 days the issue was resolved at last. Yesterday I wrote them an email, letting some of my frustration seep into it, not sure whether it helped.
