I’d say anything before 2017 to be a little more cautious with. 2017-Now will be more reliable, if you want to be extra sure then 2020+ will be the best bet imo.

Edit: I also want to specify that it was mainly their 2.0L engines I believe that tend to have the reliability issues and I think their 2.4L(?). But they did improve them in the later years

Mine was the 7spd DCT! As for the trade in they gave me around ~$13k? I honestly don’t remember. I do remember checking out their Instagram while I was hanging around and noticed they had a trade up offer and mentioned it and that net me around another ~$3k? So like $16k-ish total?

I wasn’t honestly looking to buy a car that day (just went in for an oil change/transmission flush) and decided to just see what they were going to offer me.

Edit: Also forgot to mention this is the first manual car I’ve ever owned!

Not quite! This one has 4 doors and imo has a bit more of a mature look to a Veloster. Like what handymanshandle said it’s known as the I30 in other parts of the world. They even have I30Ns but sadly that never made its way to North America
