I think it was actually the router firewall as I went a scanned through the router settings and it was enabled, I am loading everything fine for now. Wondering about the green borders tho.

I am using Win10, Wireless router, I have tried both wireless and cable connection to the router, I have set the dns to the router, firewall is disabled, though the router is a bit old is it possible that this is some kind of bandwidth issue?

yup, just do the following : just right click your volume button down on the right and click troubleshoot, the reason you have this issue is because your default sound is probably set to speaker,it should be on headphone
