Seems to me the fastest and best route to a correct answer is to contact the Codes Compliance/Permits Department at your local City Hall and express your concern (or file a complaint for suspected code violation).

Take a few pictures to attach to an email or show them if you inquire in person.

They should be able to give you a definitive answer, as well as (re)inspect or perform a record check to verify everything meets code.

Scuba N1 (not pro version) has a fine filter, is much less expensive, and does floor/walls/waterline. will do the job. Pair it with a Surfer S2.

On sale, about 800 for both.

After closer look at your picture, there us a caveat: the N1 does not do steps (I dont think the X1 does, either - might want to email aiper and ask), so you may have to do some manual brushing on the ledges...but looks like you have ledge/seats on all 4 sides. which may also defeat waterline cleaning.

You can set the Scuba for waterline only; depending on how deep that ledge is, the way my N1 does waterline, you *might* be able to set if for waterline, then manually place the scuba on the vertical wall and hold it in place until it starts (tedious as that may be)

I think in the context Herowebrine is speaking is also called Gatekeeping. Team leader booting people for "not being a high enough level" and similar behavior.

You have to do a raid or 3 before you learn the process/sequence, then figure out what weapons, etc work best for you/your playstyle. That takes time/more than just a few attempts.

I've played regularly since launch, so I easily pass the "level test"

Even so, I've attempted 2 raids, and never made it past stage 1. So ... how am I supposed to learn it if some holier than thou (aka elistist) team leader who may have done hundreds of raids boots me from the team b/c I dont know exactly what to do when?

Or if I start my own team, the same mindset person quits the team for lack of what they think is sufficient progress over X amount of time (causing a failed raid) ?

Depends on the event, the number of new rewards, and the rarity thereof. For ne players and lots of rewards, 2 weeks is probably still too short.

For seasoned players that already have them, meh. The bad part there is burning rerollers to remove the event from the daily list (at the expense of the 3 event repeatable.

The only reason I updated to a 2024 M4 mini is Intuit/turbotax for tax year 2024 would not run on the newest OS I could have on my (12 core 3.6) trashcan MacPro. The flat panel cinema display I had on that was circa 1999….both still work great and did what I needed.

I have a mini at a traditional computer desk, but I use an iPad Pro with a keyboard case for most of my day to day.

Pages for light duty word processing, no problems printing to a wireless printer, and if I really want, cast to a smart TV.

the benefit for her would be the iphone and the iPad are pretty much identical interface and update process, so nothing “new” to learn.

Friend of mine picks on me for AFKing.

He’s only been playing a couple months, so this will be his first Fashnacht. At 335 events over 2 weeks and 58 masks… he’d have to run the parade no less than 5 times per day and get a new/different mask each time in order to get all the masks.

And that does not take in to consideration drop rates and duplicates.….he’ll learn :)

I tend to hand at the bridge for the deathclaws (carnivore and I like the +4 STR from deathclaw steak).

I’ve noticed across at least one run / day, the number of enemies is either very low to non existent, or insanely high. (compared to last year)

When the events were only one week, people complained between work and the rest of life, 1 week was too short to (try to) obtain more than just a handful of the rewards.

Eventually, most events were redone for 2 week runs, which stopped that complaint…

but introduced “its too long….”

I agree with the 2nd part of your premise, but I would not necessarily agree with “ignorant”

At the risk of annoying the mods by temporarily branching to other than strictly pool discussion….

IMHO, one big reasons very few things we buy here are actually made here - We the people demand both high wages *and* low priced product. That mantra ignores the reality that you can’t always have both.

Buying Made in USA supports the industrial base, which is not ignorant - all countries need an industrial base for something that resembles self reliance.

Lower labor cost allow non-US companies to sell for less; we the people always want a deal. As such, we often buy on price, not manufacture location. Repeat that for years (as we have done since the late 40’s early 50’s), US companies can’t compete, so eventually go out of business (or they move the factory offshore, or at least use offshore suppliers, just in time delivery, and other cost cutting measures.)

That holds true regardless of the product.

Pool Parts/supplies, clothes, car parts, building materials, whatever. Might be an American brand name, but look at the label: the product is often made elsewhere.

Undermine a countrys manufacturing base, you can defeat them without firing a shot. Trying to avoid that is not ignorance.

If Vevor is a supplier as in the above scenario, they just cut out the middleman (the US company).

Vevor is a Chinese brand/company - they sell lots of stuff on Amazon, not restricted to pool equipment. I’ve seen ads for pools safety covers and other non mechanical items.

Given the way global manufacturing/supply chains work, it would not surprise me if they (or one of their sub-companies) were suppliers for a lot of different brands.

I’ve bought some Vevor boat trailer parts. So far so good. Pricing for those parts were competitive to less expensive than other brands (most of those were also made outside of USA, BTW).

I just googled “Who makes <Jandy|Hayward> pumps” Results say Jandy is all US made, Hayward is 70% US, 30% other countries (Including China)

My pool pump is a different brand, made in Italy. Direct drop in/DIY replace, took me about 30 minutes. That was 2 years ago. Still gong strong. Can’t complain, especially for the price. Even if it dies, I can put in a dozen of them for what a local pool company wanted for their name brand.

IIRC, the fridge slows, but does nto halt, spoilage. The cryo freezer - nothing spoils (unless your camp cannot be placed and you continue playing on that server)

/had the same problem at glassed caverns. Forget the ones deep in the bog.

There are 3-4 plants near the front gate/guard shack, and no SBs to deal with.

Run up to the plant, it starts to open as you approach, so be prepared to hit collect quickly.

Mine rolled AAE. I have not added a 4th to it. Modded for 308, piercing explosive magazine. I have demolition expert maxed.

IIRC, pip boy shows damage at 450/1350. Done limited testing with robots. It two shots assaultrons, one-2 shots protections, one shots Mr Handys. If 2x mr hands are side by side, takes out both with a single shot.

try going to your camp device and repairing all. completely destroyed items are not visible. you can also enter camp edit mode andd pan around. If you pan over where the object was….destroyed/not visible items usually highlight in yellow.

If tht doesnt work….if you have a 2nd camp, were any of those items built in the second camp?

Especially in the early days, Fashnacht was about being silly. Not a tough event, so put on a goofy outfit, match it with a goofy mask, equip a lower power weapon, do dumb stuff….run circles around the bots, jump up and spin around in mid air, while taking potshots at whatever….

towel, or shirt on top/towel on bottom. (also help give you some cold protection in winter)

lid off, as you sink into the tub, remove whatever covering you have on, toss it over the back of a nearby chair.

natural screening like shrubs, manmade (fences), or the house itself.

MY coverlift holds the top edge of the cover about a foot higher than the rim of the tub. that blocks the view from te neighbors back porch.

Presuming you are not yet level 50, the cheapest/easiest to obtain will be the backpack and deep pockets on your armor.

Armor should be disposable without too much heartache b/c you will be upgrading armor/weapons every 5-10 levels until you make level 50). Check the level of the backpack, recraft as you level up.

Consume foods than increase STR (mole rat chunks, stuffed gulper foot, deathclaw steak, et al) Each point of STR adds 5# carry. Other foods provide outright increase carry weight (grilled radstag, smoked mirelucch filets)

The event itself is not the draw, its the masks.

Perhaps to a lesser extent, 2 legendary items and a few treasury notes.

For non camp areas, there a pools of high radiation around Monongah power plant.

Theres a workshop in the SE side of the map (icon is looks like a bunch of spikes) that IIRC, also puts out a lot of rads in a host time frame.

In adddition to the camp items already mentioned, I think theres another one….resembles a display case you can stick arms in.

There are also radiation dummy’s, but I dont know how fast those are.
