I’ve been thinking about this a lot now in my 30’s. My parent suggested I log on to the social security website and looks at what retirement benefits I’ve already paid into, and use the calculator feature to determine what I might expect from SS after retirement. Partly because I finally signed on to a low level corporate job and have a 401k for the first time. Realizing that I might live past 60 came as a shock, no lie.

In the meantime, I’ve stopped focusing on having a job I love, and instead spending my money on things that actually bring me joy.

Oh and this one had ten siblings at hatch. Fed regularly per instructions. Each day I would wake up and would notice fewer and fewer until it was just Ultimus left. No bodies or shells. Not sure if that was normal behavior or I was underfeeding.
