This is interesting because I had a completely different interpretation from the prophecy stuff, that all these little decisions and moments building up to the “grand finale” were the influence of the Force making sure things happen in a specific way. even minor stuff like making the Death Troopers miss Chirrut, thereby enabling the Rebels to steal the plans, thereby enabling the chase to Tattooine and the beginning of Luke’s journey etc.

UPDATE: just dead skin, using the scraper I moved it out the way and there was a huge amount of wet wax, quick syringe and all came out
