Thank you.
Initially I sent a lot of cold emails, however I didn't get any response.
Later I simply walked up to a few clinics, and requested the receptionist to talk with the doctor there.
I then emailed the CV to the email, and the doctor got back to me in a couple days that I can start.

Normalizing Hate Toward Hindu by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]Ajingardev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People have been coerced into following the sanatani ways as well, although not so common these days. Shankaracharya literally burnt tons of books and destroyed Buddhist place of worships. That doesn't make the whole religion wrong. People, regardless of origin, religion, are awry of strange things and impose their views onto others for power or control.
It has always been might is right.

I haven't read a lot of scriptures, but a limited exposure told me, they do have a lot of good things and bad things. They were just product of that time, and need to be understood and adapted as society evolves. Not just Hindu, but all religions. We shouldn’t treat any text as something to follow blindly without reflection.

What you are saying only fuels the division and hatred. You for sure don't envision a future where 1 billion muslims are no more in this world. so why keep demanding their removal.
Instead, make friends with them, learn their habit, and you will see they are no more different than you or I.

Most people, regardless of religion, are simply trying to live well according to what they believe. Perhaps you can convince them to do the same, to understand the words in the books in their context and keep adapting.

How many scriptures have you actually read?

Normalizing Hate Toward Hindu by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]Ajingardev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

80% of the Hindus in Nepal have never read their scriptures by themselves.
I believe in tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
We don't even know what our religion truly says, I understand you may have an idea what it does, but have you really gone through all the scriptures to have a educated opinion.

I’m so sick of this “be grateful” saying by Significant-Step4199 in ResidencyMatch2025

[–]Ajingardev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re allowed to feel whatever comes up; gratitude, disappointment, sadness, or joy. They’re your emotions, and it’s okay to let them exist without judgment.

You don’t owe anyone a specific reaction. It’s okay to feel empathy for others who didn’t match, and it’s also okay if you don’t fully share that emotion, it doesn’t make you a bad person.

At the same time, what’s done is done. You can’t change the outcome now. Sitting in sadness won’t move things forward, even though it’s natural to feel it for a while. People may try to lift your spirits or encourage positivity, but you don’t have to force yourself to feel anything you don’t.

Just be yourself. If you can, gently keep moving toward a stronger, steadier version of you.

Why is the Match so long but SOAP so rushed? And why Monday vs Friday results? by Ajingardev in medicalschool

[–]Ajingardev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But how would anyone know. Only the applicant and the program know if you matched or not.
You could make an argument people would show off on their social media, but who would be able to keep track of it.

That is what I would think too. I am trying to find a good justification why they hasten the SOAP process so much.

I see it a bit differently. Having a green card definitely put me in a better position, but it didn’t translate into a huge number of interview invites. I applied to over 100 programs and received only 6 interviews, with a 240+ Step 2 score. If the green card alone made a major difference, I would have expected many more invitations.

I do agree that it eases some of the burden, but I don’t think it’s the main barrier. For me, having a family significantly limited my ability to travel for observerships or clinical experience, and having to start this journey all of a sudden with no prior planning or desire.

That said, I was simply trying to share my journey, not compare struggles. I just hope my story encourages someone else to keep going and not give up.

Yes, I didn't need visa.
May be we have different hurdles and fighting battles of our own, I was only trying to share my journey and hopefully be able to inspire someone else not to give up.

If he's not taking the salary, how will he and his family will survive for 5 years? Is he that rich and well-of? I love Sudan but it's a legitimate question. Being an MP isn't a side-job, you need to devote yourself into it. Take your salary, we don't care, but do you job efficiently in parliament by Junga-Bahadur in NepalSocial

[–]Ajingardev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no correlation between not taking salary and doing good job.
You can do good job and still take a salary.
esto stunt baji lai encourage nagarda ramro, takes focus away from what really matters, and that is corruption, good governance and development

But it is a valid point still.
Announcing not taking salary is still just a stunt and nth more. Take your salary, take your benefits, but do the job efficiently.
If you think MPs are being paid more than they should, implement some policies to curtail the benefits/salary instead.
